The space Our Fjord Holiday Lodge is a modern, beautifully designed Norwegian cabin with breathtaking panoramic views of the Romsdalsfjord and the surrounding mountains. Set in a small and peaceful cabin area above the fjord, the lodge accommodates up to 8 guests and offers the ideal balance of comfort, style and nature. It is the perfect base for exploring Fjord Norway in all seasons – summer, autumn, winter and spring. The open-plan living and dining area with floor-to-ceiling windows, a cozy fireplace and comfortable seating is the heart of the home. No matter the weather or time of day, you can enjoy stunning fjord views right from the sofa. A fully equipped kitchen, fast WiFi, washer, dryer and a private EV charging station (Wallbox) make the lodge perfect for families, groups, outdoor enthusiasts and longer stays or workations. The lodge features 4 bedrooms and 2 modern bathrooms. One area, including two bedrooms and one bathroom, can be separated by a sliding door – ideal for families who want extra privacy. The private sauna is a highlight, perfect for relaxing after hiking, skiing, sightseeing or winter activities. Just a few meters from the cabin you’ll find a small creek and a beautiful forest – a playground for children and a peaceful spot for short walks. Hiking trails start directly behind the house, including routes to the Herjevatnet lake and the mountain Tarløysa (1086 m). The region around Åndalsnes and Molde is one of Norway’s most spectacular outdoor destinations. Within a short drive you can reach famous attractions such as Romsdalseggen, Rampestreken, Trollstigen, Trollveggen, the scenic Raumabanen railway, Molde and the world-famous Atlantic Road. In summer, guests enjoy hiking, fishing, boating, swimming and scenic road trips. In winter, the area offers cross-country skiing, ski touring, snowshoeing, sledding and several ski resorts nearby – and with a bit of luck, you may see the Northern Lights dancing over the fjord. The Fjord Holiday Lodge is the perfect all-year-round getaway for nature lovers, adventurers, families and anyone looking for peace and breathtaking scenery. Guest access You will have full access to all areas of the lodge and the outdoor space. The entire cabin is exclusively yours during your stay, allowing you to enjoy complete privacy. Only a small storage room near the entrance is private and remains locked – all other rooms and facilities (sauna, kitchen, terrace, living area, washer, dryer, etc.) are fully available for your use. Other things to note A highchair and a travel cot for children are available for families. The cabin is accessed via a short single-lane gravel road. In winter, we recommend winter tyres; in periods of heavy snowfall, 4WD and snow chains can be helpful. If you would like to rent a boat for fishing or fjord trips, we recommend booking early through Herje Caravan & Cabin Centre. Online reservations are possible and convenient. ⚡ EV charging available Guests travelling with an electric car can charge it at our private Zaptec Go wallbox. Charging is optional and billed transparently based on actual consumption (5 NOK per kWh). All sessions are recorded in our app, so you only pay for what you use.
