Infinity Pool Surrounded by lush tropical forest, our crystal clear 10 x 24ft infinity pool creates a tranquil oasis where you can cool off during the day and stargaze at night. The peaceful setting makes it easy to disconnect and embrace island living. Our infinity pool is NOT heated. It's 3.5ft on the shallow end and 6ft on the deep end. Hot Water Our home uses an evacuated-tube solar hot-water system that feeds two insulated storage tanks, delivering comfortable, energy-efficient hot water for showers. Hot water may take a few seconds to get to the faucet especially when it have not been used for an extended period of time. Electricity Usage To help keep costs reasonable and support sustainable energy use, please turn off lights, air conditioning, fans, and appliances when leaving the property or when they are not in use. Keep doors and windows closed while the air conditioning is running. Your cooperation helps us reduce our environmental impact and maintain a comfortable, affordable experience for all guests. Location Tucked away in a safe and peaceful neighborhood, Villa Aura provides a relaxing escape from the crowds. It's the ideal place to recharge after a day of adventure, with the convenience of being only minutes from the airport and many of the region's top attractions including the pitons, mud bath, volcano and sugar beach. Please note that, as with many tropical destinations, small insects or harmless local lizards may occasionally enter if doors and windows are left open. We recommend keeping them closed when possible to help keep the space comfortable during your stay. Regular pest control is maintained, and keeping doors and windows closed when not in use helps minimize visits from these local island residents. St. Lucia isn’t a nightlife-focused island, and our Airbnb is not located near nightlife activities. However, if you’re here to experience the true magic of the island—its natural beauty, scenery, and authentic local charm—you’re in the perfect location. With that being said, we can also arrange taxis for guests who want to experience the island’s famous street party and Rodney Bay. The drive is approximately 1.5 hours, so you can enjoy a fun night out and return comfortably. Taxi/Transportation Services St. Lucia taxis are often considered expensive, but it’s important to understand the context behind the pricing. Fuel costs around $6 USD per gallon, and nearly everything on the island is imported—including vehicles, which are subject to over 100% in duties and taxes. We will take you to your activity or reservation, wait for you, and then return you to your villa—all at rates that are often more affordable than Uber, while offering a personalized, reliable service tailored to your needs.
