Spanish European Charm on the coast of Puerto Nuevo! This ONE-OF-A-KIND casita is uniquely built into the lower face of a cliff with its very own secluded beach. We’ve undergone a full reno to include a wonderful new gourmet kitchen & chic bathroom. Decor is a mix of vintage European furnishings, art and hand curated fine linens which will transcend you into feeling as though you are staying on the coast of Spain. There truly isn’t another property on the coast of Baja quite like Perla de Mar! The space Welcome to Perla de Mar! Romantic and secluded beachfront casita for two! Once inside the casita, you’ll be greeted by a fully renovated and professionally designed luxurious space by your host, Leanne Michael LUXE lifestyle design whom specializes in fine Spanish & European interiors! You’ll be marveled by the incredible panoramic ocean views with private beach and feel transcended into European coastal luxury much like what you’d experience on the coast of Portugal and Spain! Upon entering the casita you’ll find the living room ready for lounging in a pair of comfortable bergere’ chairs to gaze out the huge arched windows onto the ocean or spin them around to watch the new roku tv ready to stream the latest of movie favorites. Alexa is also at your disposal for streaming music of choice and to answer your questions, such as "Alexa, where are the best tacos in Rosarito?" The brand new modern “King Neptune” kitchen was designed for meal preparation, dining, entertaining AND work space in mind. You’ll find it fully equipped with beautiful stoneware dishes, recycled glassware, copper flatware, lovely fine linens, a small gas range oven and microwave, full size fridge perfect for extended stays, pots & pans, toaster, blender, a cast iron tea pot, loose teas, Italian press coffee percolator and fine roasted coffee beans, etc, etc! There is also a separate butcher block prep island so you can use the counter peninsula with USB port underneath as your dedicated work perch with the joy of full ocean view and breeze! Look forward to sleeping soundly after a day of beach activities such as boogie boarding, surfing and romping in the surf with your dog! You’ll be serenaded by the crashing of waves and view of the stars on the new queen memory foam mattress set in a lovely vintage four-poster bed dressed in layers of hand curated luxurious soft linens and blankets, that stylistically and with comfort, fit the needs of our coastal seasons. The new 3 piece bathroom has also been fully renovated and appointed with a wonderful large rain head shower and handheld sprayer (with great water pressure), soft Turkish cotton towels, sundries and bathing essentials, a quaint vanity with a vintage hammered brass & bone inlaid Moroccan sink, a brand new toilet with warm water bidet toilet seat for luxurious personal cleansing and pair of appointed hand cloths for drying. PLEASE NOTE: Given the unique proximity of this special dwelling, we are required to force waste uphill. Therefore our plumbing restricts us from flushing anything other than natural waste. In other words, absolutely no toilet paper, no feminine products, and no hygiene wipes! Please use the provided individual sanitation bags to discard used toilet paper and hygiene products and place the bag in the trashcan next to the toilet while using the bidet to cleanse and the mini hand towels on the brass bar holder to dry with. Please also inquire about our menu of luxurious experiences which include: professional couples massages that can take place under the Sun on the private beach landing or poolside. All inclusive LUXE packages with fine European designed fresh flowers, a fully stocked fridge, etc.. freshly baked cookies and CAKE, many gourmet charcuterie boards to choose paired with wine, champs, flights of tequila, etc, etc.. AMENITY POLICY ~ We offer beach gear for exclusive use! * 2 full face snorkeling masks * 2 pairs of fins * 2 inflatable life vests * 2 boogie boards * 2 yoga mats * Hammock for two * Acrylic dishes & drink ware * 2 folding beach chairs All amenity items are to be used responsibly and with care at all times. Never leave any items unattended! All items are to be cleaned and stored after each use. All amenity items are subject to immediate replacement costs. PET POLICY~ Pets are welcome at Perla de Mar! I am happy to allow for a MAXIMUM of 2 well behaved, housebroken pups on flea control. All pets and service animals must be disclosed and described prior for approval NO EXCEPTIONS. Please be honest about your pet(s) behaviors as my home is very special and we do everything we can to keep it that way for all guests to enjoy. A $150.00 additional deep cleaning fee will be required at time of reservation. Please be advised that any damages caused by pet urine, scratching, chewing, etc.. will require immediate financial compensation to remedy. Pets are never to be left unattended and all pet waste is to be picked-up immediately with your own doggy bags and discarded properly in the green outdoor trash bin next to the Pila water tank. Please share some basic info about your pups upon booking. Also! There is a hose accessible from the private red rooftop terrace where you are to bathe your pet ONLY - NOT IN THE SHOWER as fur and sand accumulating in our shower drain is problematic for our septic system. CHILDREN ~ Should you wish to bring up to 2 children with you, I am happy to provide either 1 queen or 1 twin air mattress with bedding essentials along with extra towels for an additional fee. Please inquire. LUXURY EXPERIENCES ~ Please inquire about our menu of luxurious experiences which includes professional couples massages on the beach or poolside, all inclusive LUXE packages with fine European designed fresh flowers, the option for a fully stocked fridge, freshly baked cookies and birthday CAKE with champs! and many gourmet charcuterie boards to choose from with wine or flights of tequila, etc.. BEACH ~ Our beach is very secluded and quiet. You’ll be able to swim, surf, boogie board and walk for miles when the tide is low. Please note there are no lifeguards on the beach or at the community pool. Swimming is at your own risk. A pair of beach chairs & beach towels are provided as well as a pair of yoga mats kept in the blue trunk at the foot of the bed. A brush is hanging from the patio door to help with removing sand before re-entering the casita. Please act responsibly with these items by cleaning and putting them away after every use. DO NOT LEAVE ITEMS UNATTENDED ON THE DECK, BEACH OR ON THE SANDED LANDING!!!! All items are to be brought in, cleaned and stored after EACH use. An immediate replacement fee will be assessed accordingly. EXTENDED STAYS CLEANING POLICY ~ We require an additional day of cleaning be scheduled in or around the 6th day of stay for an additional $65.00 per each additional six days of stay. You’ll receive fresh sheets and bedding change, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags, and a cleaning which will include windows. Guest access The entire property is private and dedicated solely for guest use. Our community pool is located as you enter into the park and is free of charge for our guests for use. Also within walking distance we have a fun zip line if you’re feeling adventurous and we also have our very own bar & restaurant “Baja Paradise” in our private community open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner AND they can even deliver! Other things to note Pikin Park is a private oceanfront residential community with a large pool free of charge for our guests to enjoy, an adventurous zip line (tips accepted) and we even have a great little bar & restaurant all within walking distance from the casita! You never have to leave the property! The casita is literally built into the lower portion of the sea cliff and has its very own private beach right out the patio doors! You can lounge and sunbathe on the sand, and surf, boogie board, kayak, snorkel and walk for miles when the tide is low! Couples snorkeling gear and boogie boards are provided! Please use responsibly and return boogie boards to storage closet and snorkel gear to storage trunk at the foot of the bed clean and ready for next use. Attention surfers! We are located in-between and within paddle distance of Las Gaviotas and Raul’s for the very best of surfing! The casita sleeps two adults comfortably. Please inquire about policy details for accommodating children and or additional persons. PET POLICY: Well behaved pets (2 dogs MAXIMUM / any size / any breed) are always welcome to stay at Perla de Mar. An additional $150.00 for deep cleaning and refundable $500.00 USD deposit will be collected upon time of reservation. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please provide details about your pet(s) including breed and name prior for approval. Be honest with yourself about your pet’s behavior and being housebroken. My staff and I work relentlessly to offer a lovely home with well appointed Turkish rugs and vintage European furnishings that we wish to preserve and present to our guests in a clean and undamaged manner. The rule is to never ever leave your pets unattended and they should always be on a leash while walking in the common areas of our community. Note that the ocean front private patio is not fenced in so your pup will require strong recall skills. It’s also understood that it is your responsibility to pick up after your pups EACH TIME and discard all pup waste with your own poop bags and place in the exterior green trash can at the curb accordingly. Medical Lane Pass: We are able to provide a medical lane pass for an additional fee, inquire within. Perla de Mar is also offered as a lovely venue for small weddings and special events up to 50 guests. Our rooftop deck overlooks an unobstructed panoramic view of the ocean with exceptional marmalade sunsets. Our special events are designed exclusively through your host, Leanne Michael L U X E lifestyle, an award winning floral and interior designer of 26 years. Inquire for details on how we may be of assistance with creating a memorable special occasion for you and your guests. Extended Stay Cleaning Policy ~ We would be delighted to have guests stay up to 28 days maximum with the understanding that additional weekly cleaning will be required with fees applied accordingly. Any stay over 6 days and consecutively on or around every 6th day of a stay we will preschedule at time of booking for additional full service cleaning to include but not limited to changing of bed linens, fresh towels, refill sundries and replace essentials, dust, vacuum, and fully clean bathrooms, cocina, lounge areas, etc..
