Things to bring: Mosquito repellent Bag of ice We do not provide umbrellas or beach towels. We recommend waterproof/mudproof shoes if you will be using the paddleboat or canoe. NO SMOKING. We kindly request that you observe our strict no smoking policy within the Romance on the Bayou home. To maintain a fresh and inviting atmosphere for all of our guests, smoking indoors is absolutely prohibited. Smoking odor inside the unit related to smoking of any kind will result in a $250 fee. However, we understand that some guests may wish to smoke during their stay. In such cases, please feel free to make use of the outdoor spaces for smoking. Please do not leave cigarette butts anywhere on our property. This is a wooded area and butts are a fire hazard. The well water on this property has naturally occurring iron or mineral content.
