The space This Beautiful, Custom Built, 2700 sq ft Log Home on 5+ Private Acre Estate with year round mountain views and fantastic swimming & non motorized boating lake in walking distance. This home boosts a stunning massive post & beam constructed great room with huge log beams and soaring 25’ ceilings, consisting of gourmet kitchen, dining and living areas with a custom built, four sided rock wall & gas fireplace. There are four (4) beautifully appointed bedrooms each with their own style and elegance and three (3) bathrooms of which one includes a Jacuzzi Tub. 11 beds in total! The Billiards Rooms, includes a beautiful solid oak bar, 8’ Brunswick pool table, 8-person professional leather card table, in addition to a 2nd living room & 2nd kitchen & dining area. You will find covered decks on both the front & back of the house including more seating space. The rear deck also includes another dining table and a propane gas grill where you can BBQ & Hot Tub year round rain or shine. Gather around the fire pit (available seasonally) and toast marsh mellows. Sled down a hill right on our estate or if you are feeling competitive play football, toss a frisbee or just picnic out on the massive lawns that surround the property. You will marvel at the 8’ Alaskan Brown Bear, take selfies by the resident casted (fake) calf located outside the barn, and get a giggle out of our “Cow” themed Billiards Room. Tannersville (2 mi.), Hunter Mountain (6 mi.) and Windham Mountain (10 mi.) are super close and offer up non-stop action year round. In the summer time Zip Line, Mountain Bike and all kinds of Festivals and in the winter time world class Skiing & Snowboarding, including snow tubing. Colgate Lake, a gorgeous, pristine fresh water, spring fed mountain lake with breathtaking landscape and located on our street and within a mile from the house! Swim, kayak (we provide two), picnic or just float and watch the clouds go by. The house is also just 4 minutes to the charming “painted town in the sky” of Tannersville, featuring unique shops, great restaurants, a winery, yoga studio, outstanding antique shops and fun bars. 20 minutes to Phoenicia and 25 minutes to Woodstock. THE GREAT ROOM As one steps into this home, you cannot help but be awestruck by the massive, timber framed great room. The natural beauty of stone and wood come together magnificently with the huge center stone column, cathedral ceilings and massive exposed wood beams. You will also find great attention paid to lighting with beautiful fixtures, lighting and lamps of all kinds found throughout the house and exterior. THE KITCHEN/DINING AREAS The spacious Gourmet Kitchen includes gorgeous granite counters tops and every accessory & tool needed to cook any gourmet meal...full place settings for 16, Calaphon cookwear set, 12 Cup Cuisinart Coffee Maker, bean grinder, slow cooker, Wusthof Knife block, Cuisinart Toaster and so much more! Adjacent dining area with imported, oversized Spanish tiles includes a massive, gorgeous 9 ft custom built dining table that can easily accommodate 16 very comfortably. There are huge Anderson glass sliders in the dining room that lead out to a large covered deck, including another dining table, where you can dine al fresco and BBQ year round using a propane gas grill. There is also another covered porch off the front of the house including three gorgeous Sunbrella Wicker Chairs (one love set, two chairs) with super comfy 6” cushions. THE LIVING AREA The Living Room is also part of the Great Room and includes a comfy U-shaped Raymour & Flanigan leather couch & sleeper sofa and two Barcalounger Leather Recliners. Relax and watch TV, listen to music using our Sirius Satellite Radio, and watch the glow of the fire! THE BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS This 4 bedroom/3 bath home - 11 beds in total/sleeps 16. Each room is meticulously clean and beautifully decorated and include outstanding framed photography from natural wonders found nearby. The majority include massive log beams and each includes high thread count linens, super comfy feather pillow tops, topped with lush Ralph Lauren comforters, plenty of pillows and oversized bath towels. The main floor features a very large Master Suite (BR #1) with a king size bed, chaise lounge & reading light, ensuite bathroom and Jacuzzi Tub (sleeps 2+). The other bedroom (BR #2) includes a twin trundle that pulls out to make a king and also another regular size twin that includes a twin under (sleeps 4). Bedroom (BR #3) has a queen size bed (sleeps 2). The last one, has a queen size bed, plus tri-twin bed consisting of a single, double & single (sleeps 6). There is also a sleeper sofa in the living area (sleeps 2). BILLIARDS ROOM AND MORE!
