Other things to note Montevideo's old town is rich in history, architecture, gastronomy, artists, designers, and intellectuals who coexist in the unique dynamic of this cosmopolitan city in South America. Ciudad Vieja is undoubtedly a privileged place. The concentration of museums, art galleries, theaters, cinemas, restaurants, and pedestrians "full of charm" will allow you to delight and enjoy the walks and shopping in the best Parisian style... have a coffee in the main square, get a relic in the street stalls at a ridiculous price, lose yourself in its emblematic architecture of the beginning of the last century. I recommend that when you get up, buy freshly baked bread in the vicinity of the place and then choose fresh fruits and vegetables at the neighborhood fair, 200 meters away, on Alzáibar Street, between Buenos Aires and Peatonal Sarandi, which you will find open on Tuesdays and Fridays.
