Heating & Cooling The house features high ceilings and beautiful polished floorboards. Double brick house with hydronic heating panels in all the rooms and under floor heating in the kitchen. There is a central air con unit as well so the house is comfortable both in summer and winter. Downstairs offers an open plan living room opening to a dining space. There is a brand new, stylish and well appointed kitchen. Kitchen has a fully stocked pantry to get you cooking should you desire. There is a full bathroom complete with bathtub downstairs along with a Euro laundry. The kitchen opens up onto an outdoor area with outdoor table and BBQ. Beds - all beds have very comfortable mattresses. We use only high quality sheets for an all natural and luxurious sleeping experience. We also have an array of pillows for you to choose from. Breakfast and pantry items - the pantry is stocked with cereals and a choice of milks ensure you’re able to have a quick breakfast before you head out for the day. We also supply a variety of tea and coffee options and cooking basics like oils and spices. House plants - the house abounds in natural indoor plants to purify the air and ofcourse keep the place looking great! Indoor dining - There is a 6 seater dining table perfect to host all of your guests! The bathrooms are stocked with high quality Aveda products for your bathing pleasure. Luxuriate in the deep bath tub, we have stocked bath salts for you. Laundry with washer and dryer also includes cleaning and laundry products for guests staying a while longer. Iron & ironing board located in laundry as well. The laundry is located downstairs just before the bathroom Working spaces - We have hi-speed wifi as well. Hydronic heaters panels in every room gives a fantastic non drying radiant heat in the cooler months Car parking - we have 1 street permit that allows you to park directly in front of the house for added convenience. There are plenty of 2 hr and all night parking spots available on the street as well. Families/Kids - There is plenty of space for families to spread out in the house and if you’re travelling with a baby/toddler we’ve got you covered with a portacot/change table (stored in the King bedroom cupboard). Please bring your own bedding for the portacot. There is a toddler’s potty (downstairs bathroom drawer), and a high chair (rear bedroom upstairs cupboard). We also have plastic plates and cutlery, (second drawers next to fridge). Carlton Gardens which has a playground 3 min walk from the house. The Melbourne Museum provides both indoor and outdoor entertainment for little ones too (5 mins walk). Guest access You'll have access to the entire home. Guests can come and go at your leisure. Check-in is after 3pm unless an earlier time has been arranged. We are happy to accomodate earlier check-ins (from noon) where bookings allow and if the house is ready for you at no extra cost. Suitcases can be dropped off from noon and securely stored if needs be. If you are wanting to check in prior to noon please book the night before as it is unlikely the house will be ready prior to noon. If your flight arrives late, no problem, you can check in any time you like however please be mindful of noise levels after 10pm Late check out till 11am can be arranged with prior notice and where bookings allow. We are happy to store luggage post check out (till 2pm) to enable you to explore the neighbourhood for as long as possible. If you wish to stay in the house later than 11am a fee of $300 - $500 will apply depending on the amount of time requested. It is a very happening place in summer :) (10 min walk) And Collingwood pool - an indoor 25m pool (15-20 min walk). To make your stay extra special: We have a well stocked pantry, with lots of breakfast cereals, spreads like Vegemite, Nutella etc and dry ingredients like pasta, rice etc. We also have a coffee machine along with coffee beans for your early morning coffee. We offer the following little extras to make your stay super special Freshly baked and delivered sourdough bread Our local French baker @i_knead_you_tonight will be able to deliver to the door freshly baked sourdough bread. At a cost of $10 per loaf plus $5 delivery. Cheese/charcuterie platters - we have many special delicatessens in the area and can create an amazing cheese/meat platter should you wish 4-6 ppl - $120 6-8 ppl $180 Fresh flowers - we have @TheBeautifulBunch a not-for profit florist near our house and can offer fresh flowers (of your choosing) or we’ll choose for you. ($120) Smaller bunches available please check out their website. Paintings - we have an ever evolving gallery of local artists displayed on our walls with price lists for paintings should you wish to purchase. Please reach out to discuss any alternative framing options. Cleaner during your stay - cleaner can be provided during your stay (recommended for longer stays). Includes whole house cleaned plus all beds remade and fresh linen and towels) ($300) We use a local cleaning service in between each booking to make sure our guests have a comfortable stay. The house is well stocked with baby and toddler equipment including: foldable travel cot/change table, bathroom step, high chair with removable tray, potty, plastic dinnerware, cutlery and cups.
