5 Acres | 10 minutes from JTNP North Entrance

Description

Abutting government land in the immaculate, mysterious area of Wonder Valley is where you will find Homestead Creek, a rustic ranch sitting on 5-acres of beautiful desert land just 10-minutes from the North Entrance gate to JTNP. With 60s and 70s influences predicated on Western Americana, you'll find yourself transported back in time to the good ole days to experience life in its truest and best form without having to sacrifice all the modern essentials desired for daily living. The space NEIGHBORHOOD A mere 10-minute drive from the North Entrance gate to Joshua Tree National Park, Homestead Creek resides on a 5-acre gated compound in the vast lands of Wonder Valley, secluded by government land and majestic views that seem to go on forever. THE SPACE Homestead Creek resides in a unique area of Twentynine Palms, facing nothing but pure, desert bliss as it overlooks Joshua Tree National Park. Serving this one-of-a-kind location is the presence of multiple buildings that synergistically strive to create one of the most unique experiences in the Joshua Tree area where musical and cultural influences of the 60s and 70s permeate throughout. The indoor space is thoughtfully crafted with retro items and endless odes to the 60s and 70s, especially as it relates to the essence of Western Americana and music of that era. Did you know that Jim Morrison of The Doors, frequented the Joshua Tree area in the late 60s; and that The Eagles embarked a psychedelic trip in this very desert to cultivate their first album? And let’s not forget about the legendary, late local Dick Dale – the king of surf guitar – in addition to Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones and Gram Parsons of The Byrds who pioneered the existence of country rock! The outdoor space boasts 5-acres of serenity, distinctively comprised of our LOVE sign, outdoor fireplace, and two pergolas that give coverage to a 60s theme cowboy pool and a hammock lounge area. THE KITCHEN The kitchen area is beautifully equipped with retro and stainless-steel appliances and quartz countertops -- all of which serve to provide an updated feel to this vintage-inspired home. An assortment of utensils, dinnerware, seasonings, coffee, creamer, tea, and sugar are also included. GAMING AND MOVIE The bungalow area provides two rooms: one for the gaming lover and the other for the movie enthusiast. The game room consists of an oversized, wall-mounted Connect Four; Space Invaders; Pong; and an assortment of novelty/vintage gaming items. The movie room is graced with epic movie posters of the past; a large flat screen; Dolby Atmos surround sound; director’s chair; candy machine; and HBO Max. BATHROOM | SHOWERS Whereas the interior bathroom displays a combination of vintage and contemporary components such as in the case of our oversized clawfoot tub offset by wood-grained tile, the bungalow bathroom exemplifies the perfect balance of upgrades by featuring a double trough sink and two outdoor showers with oversized, copper rain shower heads. Each bathroom is further complemented by shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and an assortment of towels. THE FIREPLACE Our outdoor, wood-burning brick fireplace is the perfect area to soak in the dark, starry skies of Joshua Tree. It's not your ordinary Joshua Tree fire pit either. It's robust, standing over 10 feet tall, backed by a rustic stone wall. It comes with one (1) fast lighting fire log to provide the most quintessential outdoor experience. SALOON Our saloon is the perfect accompaniment to the overall western vibe this property emanates. Therein you will find a retro-inspired Coca Cola mini fridge and a "dive bar" wall showcasing many vintage/unique items. The exterior of the bar is affixed with a torched, wooden bar top and four (4) black metal stools to enjoy a cocktail the way you're supposed: under the beautiful skies of JT. BILLIARDS Since you can't have a saloon without billiards, we thought it was absolutely necessary to make use of this space with that our vintage-inspired billiards table, an attribute that makes this area that much more special. OBSERVATION DECK Above the saloon is a one-of-a-kind observation deck providing panoramic views of the majestic Joshua Tree desert. The views are endless and so are the memories. POOL This 60s themed desert cowboy pool is a great way to cool off during the summer. (pool is seasonal) LOUNGE AREA Our large pergola is the ideal way to kick back and enjoy the outdoors. It comes equipped with two (2) oversized hammocks and pro sized cornhole. BACKYARD PATIO The backyard patio is spacious, offering a retro, infrared BBQ and two (2) sizable picnic tables to enjoy the endless views engendered by vast government land. THE CREEK, LOVE SIGN, and YELLOWBRICK ROAD Don't forget to snap a photo of yourself crossing our famous Homestead Bridge; walking Elton's Yellowbrick Road; or using our LOVE sign as the perfect backdrop, each serving as the ideal backbone to this 60's/70s western compound!
