I enjoyed my stay in the Desert Mirror Casita. The Casita was extremely clean and peaceful and relaxing to stay in. Everything that was mentioned was accurate. The host was amazing with any and all concerns that I had when it came to location, weather and local activities or restaurants. Response time was within 2-5 minutes. I highly recommend staying in such a beautiful home, might have been my first, but def. Not my last! I can’t wait to go back already. It’s exactly the peaceful environment I needed and was looking for! Kathleen: The Mirror House was everything we could have asked for. It was fun to essentially be in a building with floor to ceiling windows so you could feel immersed into the local wilds. There was a water filter/dispenser available as well as board games and earbud mufflers; the microwave and Bodum water heater also came into clutch; our favorite feature of the house was the heated floors, what a pleasant surprise! Brittney: The mirror cabin is an incredible experience if you’re visiting Terlingua! It’s such a unique space and we felt like we had everything we needed. This takes glamping to a whole new level! Also super fun to take mirror selfies in front of the building. Looks exactly like the pictures and would definitely stay here again. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire Mirror Cabin, private fire pit, and surrounding outdoor area. Parking is included and located just outside the cabin. Other things to note The Ghost House is a modern stay in a rugged desert setting, so while you’ll have comforts like A/C, WiFi, and a comfy bed, keep in mind that you're still in remote West Texas. Expect stunning stars, wide-open silence, and the occasional dust or critter. Firewood is not provided for the fire pit. It’s a peaceful, private space just minutes from Big Bend and walkable to Terlingua’s historic Ghost Town.
