Riverfront Cabin/Kayaks/OutdoorShower/on 130acres

BlueCat is on the Washita River in rural OK. Stay for a couple’s getaway, fishing trip, or just R&R. A modern log cabin on 130 acres, surrounded by Mother Nature.Kayaks are included. You will have easy access to the pond and river. Seeing elk and bald eagle are common, especially during fall and winter. Please read all listing information and photos to make sure this is the right fit for you. The hosts live on the property, but your privacy is priority. Higher clearance vehicles are suggested. The space This is a unique property that can provide a lot of rest and relaxation, as well as adventure. The cabin is on 130 acres with views of mountains, river, ponds, and hay fields. The cabin has been through a complete remodel and has a lot of fun history. This land means so much to us and we are excited for the world to see it. It is important to note you have to cross a low water crossing before going down the driveway. Low riding vehicles could scrape. The creek can rise- we will be as diligent as possible to give a heads up about this if it should affect your stay. Most vehicles should do just fine a large portion of the time. We cannot control the weather- so the river water levels can rise and fall as well. As always, just want to be trasnparent about everything. Most often, it will not affect your stay. You will go through two locked automatic gates (will provide gate codes in check-in instructions) and down a very long driveway. We have a spot that has direct access to the water with a short drive and walk from the cabin. All adventures- kayak, swimming, exploring the land, are at your own risk. There is a full kitchen that allows you to cook your own meals if you wish. The screened in back porch hosts a fire pit table, couch, and outdoor shower. Listening to the running river water is relaxing. You very likely will not hear another vehicle, but you can hear a train from time to time or a small plane from the nearby, industrial airpark. Elopements or small events could be allowed with prior approval and discussion with the host. The hosts do live on the property, but it is 0.4 miles up the driveway and we cannot see each other from the porches/ structures. Helping you have the best time is very important- however, we do not have to see each other at all if you do not wish. It is not necessary to check in with us upon arrival or check out. Guest access The entire cabin is yours. You are welcome to explore the bottom part of the land as well as river. We can help direct you to the best spot to get to the water. Please give us a heads up before coming up to our house if needed at all.
