Our handmade shepherd's hut has been designed to allow you to enjoy all the peaceful countryside has to offer. Cosy interiors, covered outdoor seating, and a private bathroom makes this the ideal spot to unwind. You can enjoy your morning coffee while looking out over the Black Mountains. Dogs can run free in the fields while you relax in the hot tub under the stars. Built with help from the rural enterprise fund The space The hut is fully furnished. It has a double bed with extra blankets, pillows and hot water bottles. There is an proivate bathroom on the balcony with a toilet and shower. The kitchen area has a sink, gas stove and cooking utensils. There is no electricity however there are lights and USB charging ports powered by a solar battery. You can see The Skirrid, Cats Back, Garway Hill and Hay Bluff all from your dining table! The hut is spacious, allowing plenty of room for relaxing or for your dogs. Outside, the balcony enjoys stunning views over the Black Mountains and there is an outdoor seating area and wood fired hot tub. Guest access There are no other guests staying in the field however there may be sheep in this field and the ones surrounding it. We have guests in the glamping field a few fields away and the hut above. But don't worry you won't be disturbed as the fields are large and far away. Other things to note Please note the hut is accessed by steps. There is no heating in the hut - it is well insulated and there are hot water bottles, spare blankets and hot water for the showers. Unfortunately the water is not drinkable but is suitable for dogs, showering, washing up etc. We provide you with one bottle of drinking water for your stay. Please note there isn't a fridge in the hut, however there is a coolbox and we can provide you with daily freezer blocks if you need. The farm is in a very rural location, we love it and think it makes for a very peaceful and secluded stay however it is not suitable for everyone!
