Cabana do Campo is a wooden construction, inspired by the mountain cabins of the USA. Surrounded by native forest and beautiful landscapes of Serra da Mantiqueira, perfect for enjoying rural simplicity. The cabin is located within a 24-hectare agroecological rural property, at an altitude of 1,600 meters, with preserved native forest, trails, streams and fully open to guests to enjoy the beauty of Mantiqueira's nature in peace. We have been certified in organic production since 2005. The space The cabin has a bedroom, a bathroom, a full kitchen, a living room with a sofa bed and a large balcony. Large windows and the balcony allow you to appreciate the surroundings in great comfort. A wood-burning heater offers coziness on cold mountain nights, and the fire pit area provides relaxing moments. Surrounded by preserved native forest and far from the main road, Cabana do Campo offers guests tranquility and privacy. Our accommodation is a great option for people seeking silence to relax and enjoy nature. Dogs are very welcome, and the site is a great place for them to also enjoy the trails freely, swim in the creek and be dogs... We are a site focused on nature preservation. We use agroecological techniques in the production of organic vegetables, and in the sustainable management of our entire property. Guests can freely enjoy the entire site, through various trails and visiting the organic production areas. Along the various trails of the site, guests can appreciate the native forest rich in bromeliads and orchids, the beautiful views of the mountains, the crystal-clear water streams, and the rich fauna, especially birds, such as toucans, hawks and parrots. By the fire, the starry nights are impressive, and a great opportunity to contemplate the nocturnal natural world. Guest access The entire site is open to guests for hiking, picnicking, walking their dogs, and enjoying our location as much as possible. Other things to note THE SITE IS 22KM FROM CAMANDUCAIA AND 25 KM FROM MONTE VERDE BY DIRT ROAD. DURING MUCH OF THE YEAR THE ROAD IS IN GOOD CONDITION. DURING THE SUMMER RAIN SEASON, ROAD CONDITIONS MAY WORSEN. FOR MORE INFORMATION, PLEASE CONTACT US. For hiking the trails on the property, we recommend appropriate footwear. We offer our guests a selection of our organic products, as well as products from other friendly producers, including vegetables, fruits, cheeses, jams and handmade products. All can be purchased separately. For everyone's peace of mind, parties, loud noises, musical instruments connected to speakers/amplifiers, shouting and disturbances in general are strictly prohibited. !!-- For everyone's safety, it is strictly forbidden to make FIRE OUTSIDE the bonfire area next to the cabin. --!! We ask guests who bring their pets not to let them climb on the sofa, armchairs and beds. NO SMOKING INSIDE THE CABIN. Please throw cigarette butts in the trash and not around the site!
