Jizerka log cabin, Jizera Mountains

A log cabin in the Jizera Mountains, 650m above sea level in the quiet settlement of Český Šumburk, 5 km from the town of Tanvald along a winding mountain road. The cottage was allegedly built around 1770 and is the oldest building in the area. Due to the nature of the building, we used old working methods to the maximum extent during the reconstruction. The cottage is located right next to the forest on a blind, impassable road. At the cottage there is a terrace with a view, the possibility of summer seating, relaxing. Fireplace, grill available.... The space On the ground floor of the renovated mountain cottage there is an entrance covered corridor, a hallway, a woodshed, a toilet, a bathroom with a bathtub, a living room with a fireplace and a BTV, a kitchen with complete equipment. On the 1st floor there are 2 rooms, which are accessed by a wooden staircase from the hallway (one 20m2 - quadruple and one smaller triple with the possibility of an extra bed). Directly above the stairs is a cozy lounge of about 15m2 with armchairs, a coffee table and storage spaces. The accommodation includes a technical room on the ground floor with the possibility of storing bicycles or skis (in the "gallery" part behind the cottage). The cottage is equipped with comfortable furniture, which is tastefully complemented by traditional elements. Guest access The entire property, including the technical room, is available for use. Other things to note In the winter and summer seasons, we prefer weekly stays. Winter season from December 15, January, February, until the end of March. Summer season from June 15, July, August until September 15. Energy: Payment on site at departure. Electricity - the actual consumption is paid according to the meter reading. Price 7,-CZK/kWh. In the case of wood heating, the fee is from 200 CZK to a maximum of 1000 CZK depending on consumption and season. Noisy celebrations and parties are not allowed and we do not accept such stays. Additional energy fees: Payment on site at departure. Electricity - the actual consumption is paid according to the meter reading. Price 7,-CZK/kWh. In the case of wood heating, the fee is from 200 CZK (summer) to a maximum of 1000 CZK (winter/week) according to consumption and season. Payment for water consumption is a flat rate of 400 CZK/week.
