Located on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, Il Cammeo 2 in Torre del Greco is the ideal base to explore Pompeii and Herculaneum and experience the authentic atmosphere of this unique area, as well as Naples, Sorrento, Capri, Positano and Amalfi. Everything is within walking distance: train station, parking, restaurants, shops and port with summer ferries to Capri The space 🏡 Welcome to our home with a private terrace, a peaceful retreat where you can unwind after a day exploring the sea, history and local flavours. The apartment is on the second floor of a historic building (no lift): a short climb that leads you to a bright home full of character. Inside the building you will also find a charming citrus garden – a hidden green corner that smells of Southern Italy. In the right season, fresh lemons are often available for our guests to enjoy. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven and dishwasher, so you can live the house just like a local. Next to it there is a bathroom that blends contemporary style with historic details, creating a unique atmosphere. In this area you will also find a comfortable single sofa bed, ideal for an additional guest. The main room is spacious and welcoming, with a double bed and a single sofa bed. But the real highlight is the ceiling: the hand-painted floral fresco created by my wife. It started as a bet between us – I didn’t think it was possible to transform that ceiling… and she proved me completely wrong. Today it is the heart of the room and one of the details our guests love and photograph the most.
