The space This Ventnor home is quaint and pleasing, a perfect place to relax and enjoy the nearby beach and boardwalk. Atlantic City is a short drive from the house where you can enjoy the Casinos, piers, boardwalk and many restaurants & bars. SUN ROOM: Directly through the front door, with seating. LIVING ROOM: With comfortable couches, additional seating and a Smart TV with streaming apps (no cable). KITCHEN: Updated, fully stocked, with stainless steel appliances. DINING ROOM: Off of the kitchen, with seating for 8. BATHROOMS: There is 1 half bath on the main level, and 2 full baths on the 2nd level. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: BEDROOM 1: 1 Queen Sized Bed & Smart TV BEDROOM 2: 2 Twin Sized Beds & Smart TV BEDROOM 3: 1 Full Sized Bed & Smart TV BEDROOM 4: 1 Twin Sized Bed LAUNDRY: There is a washer and dryer in the house that guests may use. BACKYARD: Fully fenced in with grass, 3 Adirondack chairs, and a propane grill. Please note, guests will need to bring their own propane. Guest access ACCESS & ENTRY: -Guests have access to the entire 4 bedroom home & backyard. -It has a private entrance in the front of the home. -We ask that you please respect the home and the neighbors. -Please note that check-out time is promptly at 11:00 AM. Failure to check out by this time may result in a $100 fee per hour. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a smooth transition for our next guests. Thank you for your understanding! KEYLESS ENTRY: -There is keyless entry. Your host will provide you with the door code approximately one hour prior to check in the day of your trip. PARKING: -There is no designated parking. There is only free on street parking. -Please be courteous to the neighbors when parking, do not block driveways or sidewalks. -Guests are responsible for city street parking compliance; read & follow signage to avoid parking tickets. -We are not responsible for parking tickets due to negligence. ***On the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month, you cannot park on the street for street sweeping. You may still park on adjacent streets, see street signage. Cars will be ticketed.** BEACH TAGS: -There will be 5 Beach Tags provided to guests for their stay. -There will be a $25 fee for any tags not returned upon departure. MAIL: -Please do not ship items to the property. -If there is something of priority that you need shipped please reach out to us directly for alternative options. -We are not responsible for any items shipped to the property. ENVIRONMENTAL NOTES: -Property located in a city environment; potential for noise from cars or foot traffic. SECURITY: -The home is protected by exterior ring doorbell camera security. Other things to note HONESTY & EXPECTATIONS: At "The Sand Star", we want our guests to have a clear understanding of the distinctions between vacation rentals and hotels. While we diligently maintain our properties, wear and tear are inherent aspects of vacation rentals. Although we address issues promptly, the high volume of guests may result in occasional delays between stays. Any significant damage or serious concerns are prioritized and resolved before a guest's check-in, provided we are made aware of the issue. CLEANING: Our dedicated cleaning team meticulously sanitizes and cleans each home. Unlike standard hotel rooms, homes entail a more detailed cleaning process due to their larger size. Despite our team's efforts to ensure optimal cleanliness, minor oversights may occur. For substantial errors, we are committed to rectifying the situation promptly. While we take pride in our cleaning standards, we ask for understanding that, as in any human endeavor, perfection is not always attainable, especially when minor details have no direct impact on your stay. HOUSEHOLD ITEMS: As private residences, it's important to recognize that household items may break or require repairs during your stay. While we understand the inconvenience this may pose to our guests, it's equally disruptive for us. Appliances such as water tanks, HVAC systems, dishwashers, and refrigerators may experience issues. We cannot guarantee immunity from such occurrences, but we pledge to address and resolve any situation swiftly. While we assure our commitment to guests' well-being, we're honest about the potential for unforeseen issues. AMENITIES: -WiFi included; exterior ring camera security for added safety. -Linens, towels, and basic amenities provided. -Guests must purchase their own amenities when stock runs out. -No laundry detergent is provided. -Basic cookware supplies; no salt, pepper, oil, or kitchen condiments. RESERVATION/CANCELLATION NOTES: -Changing reservation dates or guest quantity may incur additional fees. -Rates/prices subject to change based on reservation adjustments. -Cancellation policy WILL apply if reservation is cancelled. Please review before booking. -Airbnb Trip Protection suggested for added coverage. OTHER DETAILS: -Ventnor City is a barrier island; expect common sightings of ants or critters. The property may have evidence of preventative treatments and measures. -Beach tags & Beach amenities are provided. -Personalized house guide with local information, suggestions, and recommendations. -We utilize quilts on most of our beds for comfort, durability, and sanitary reasons. If extra blankets are needed let us know before check in. -If you are extremely sensitive to smells, please note that odors from food, smoke, or other sources from outside or neighboring units may occasionally be noticeable. If this is a major concern for you, please keep this in mind.
