Welcome to our cozy Logan Square garden apartment with a lot of natural light! Perfect for business & solo travelers, and couples. Enjoy a comfy queen-size bed, workspace, fast Wi-Fi, and huge Smart TV with Roku. Plenty of power outlets to keep your devices charged. Get ready in the bathroom w/ ample counter space & a large mirror. Cook in the well-equipped kitchen with full-sized appliances, spices/oil, microwave, toaster & coffee/tea bar. Note: Hosts occupy first floor of the home. The space Conveniently located at the overlap (North Ave & Pulaski Rd) of the West Logan, Hermosa, & Humboldt Park neighborhoods of Chicago (just west of Humboldt Park and Wicker Park). Three blocks to the west entrance of the 606 Trail. Restaurants, coffeeshops, and grocery stores within walking distance. One bedroom, one bathroom garden unit (AKA in-law suite or basement, has 3 stairs down) includes a large living area and kitchen. Your space is separate with no shared common areas, so feel free to come and go as you please. You have your own private entrance. Homeowners live upstairs. You can access the unit anytime after 3pm by using the keypad. Code will be provided the day of check in. Checkout is at 11am. If you need a later check out, check with host. Other things to note ABOUT OUR UNIT: Garden unit = Basement, it has 3 stairs to go down/up and a side private entrance which is separate from the upstairs of the house. if you're tall please note that while the overall ceiling height is 7 ft, the HVAC duct in kitchen/living room is 4 inches lower. OWNERS ON PROPERTY: We live on the property (upstairs) and do our best to keep noise at a minimum, but you may hear some light noise from time to time. Also, we may have to access the adjacent owners' laundry room (not available to guests) to the apartment but will do this as rarely as possible. GUESTS: -No unregistered guests. All guests staying at the unit must be on the reservation. After booking, the main guest must invite the second person to the reservation via the app. - We do not accept third-party bookings. All reservations must be made by the person staying at the property. -The maximum number of guests without incurring additional fees is 2 (one person can sleep on the couch). - Any additional guests must be approved at the time of booking, and an extra guest fee applies. Please confirm with us that additional sleeping arrangements (i.e. air mattress) can be provided. BATHROOM/SHOWER: Just a heads-up: when you first turn on the shower, you might hear a brief rattling noise—this is just from the hot and cold water mixing and nothing to worry about. Simply move the shower handle a bit to adjust the flow, and the noise will stop. We recommend turning on the water and setting it to your preferred temperature before stepping in for the most comfortable experience. AC/HEAT: - Guests do not control the thermostat but can adjust vents as needed. Unit is naturally a bit colder than the rest of the house because it is in the basement. We suggest all guests bring a sweater/robe etc. to use while in unit. - A safe space heater (with auto-off features) and oscillating fan are also provided for your comfort and use. LAUNDRY: There are no laundry facilities on the premises for guests. There are several laundromats within walking distance if needed. Search around North Ave and Pulaski Rd. PETS: We do not allow pets. QUIET HOURS: Please respect our home and the quiet hours 11pm-7am daily. SECURITY: Please keep both interior and exterior apartment doors locked and closed at all times. The property has exterior cameras only. PARKING: Only street/public parking is available, first come first serve. There are non-permit blocks in our vicinity. We provide only one parking pass per night booked that is only for our block. They will be on the side of the fridge. Please follow instructions on how and when to secure to your car window. Street parking on our block is limited as we are on a dead end. Please review all posted signs for permit requirements, street cleaning, and road repairs. We are not responsible for any parking violations incurred. PARTIES: Absolutely No Parties or Events COOKING: - As of October 2025, the oven is no longer available for guests. The stovetop Guests may cook o and use all provided appliances. - We ask that you turn on the above stove fan every time you cook . SMOKING POLICY: - No Smoking, vaping, and e-cigarettes inside the apartment. Smoking is only allowed in the backyard by the picnic table (at least 20 feet away from the exterior door). - No burning of incense, candles, or any burning materials not covered above anywhere inside or on the property. USE OF BACKYARD: - Depending on the season, you may see a hot tub or above-ground pool in our backyard. Unfortunately, due to liability/ insurance issues, guests are NOT allowed to use the hot tub or pool at any time. Guests will be asked to leave if caught using. - Guests may use the picnic table or other seating they see around the backyard. OTHER USE OF PROPERTY: -No Commercial photography and filming. WHEN YOU LEAVE (for Day or Checkout): -Make sure to turn off all lights, fans, small appliances, and any electronics when you leave the house. -Don’t forget to close and lock both the interior and exterior doors. ISSUES/DAMAGES: -Report any damages and/or breakages in a reasonably timely manner. -Damages exceeding normal wear and tear will be reported to Airbnb and charged to the guest.
