The space The cottage is nestled in the centre of the hamlet of Garth Row, located a stones throw from the historic market town of Kendal. Walks are plentiful from the door, the banks of the River Sprint are a pleasant 10 minute stroll away; advancing to waterfalls, local pub villages, the climbs of Potter Fell and beyond to the High Street fells. You enter the property by a private driveway which offers a lower terrace for outdoor seating at meal-times. The cottage also has a secluded terraced garden at a raised level which enjoys views to the wider Cumbrian landscape. The spacious lounge is light and airy with three comfortable sofas and a cosy armchair with large windows offering a variety of views to the picturesque surroundings. The solid oak kitchen offers a lovely dining space with views of the garden. There is a double oven, microwave, dishwasher, induction hob, fridge/freezer and washing machine as well as Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and toaster. There are two bedrooms each with a seating space (one double and two single beds which can be pulled apart). A bathroom with illuminated mirror and shower over the bath serves the cottage. Wifi is provided across the property. The cottage is convenient for walkers of the Dales Way and is within 25 minutes drive of the Lake attractions of Bowness and offers access to both National Parks of Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Guest access Guests are able to use the entire cottage, which includes the garden space to the back of the cottage.
