Canastra - Canary Chalet

Relax in this unique and quiet place; rustic and cozy. The Canary Chalet consists of a spacious bedroom and bathroom, kitchen with minibar, microwave, stove (two burners) and household utensils for preparing meals. We have air-conditioning and a wall fan. We do not provide bed and bath linens, as we understand that they are personal items, but we do have pillows and blankets. You'll have an excellent landing in Canastra! The space We are a couple who appreciate nature. We got to know the region and fell in love with Serra da Canastra. When we visited our current land, we found many Canaries of the Earth and in honor of them we call our space "Canário de Minas"; its landing in Canastra, composed of 5 chalets: Canário Chalet, João-de-Barro Chalet, Periquito Chalet, Maritaca Chalet and Bem-te-vi Chalet. Each of them has the color of the birds that bear their name. Guest access Our guests will have access to the area surrounding the cottages, where nature is beautiful and imposing. Other things to note We built our chalets as ecologically as possible. We have a photovoltaic plant (solar energy) to generate our own energy. We recovered the spring that provides us with drinking water, reused wood to build our furniture and preserved the native vegetation around the chalets in order to have a low impact on the vegetation. We are in an area around the Serra da Canastra. Therefore, we must use our resources in a sustainable way, especially the water from the springs. As the region is rural and there are no shops nearby, we built our chalets in order to have the necessary comfort for a good rest and preparation of simple meals.
