The farmhouse has a private fenced garden with an above ground swimming pool, an outdoor furnished space for outdoor meals, a portable barbecue, wifi, air conditioning in the bedrooms, mosquito screens, and parking within the property. It’s the perfect place for families or groups of friends. Outdoors and swimming pool The farmhouse has a fenced garden, with bushes and various other plants, and boasts great views of the surrounding countryside. Access to the property is via a wooden gate which leads to a large gravel area in front of the house with the parking area. The above ground swimming pool (currently being installed) is slightly lower down and not far from the farmhouse, measuring 5,50 metres by 2,50 with a depth of 1.3m, complete with a sunbed, beach umbrellas and chairs. In front of the entrance to the house there is an outdoor living room with umbrellas, a wood-burning stove and a portable barbecue. A shaded, furnished corner for outdoor breakfasts completes the relax area.Interior The farmhouse is on two floors, with an indoor staircase. The ground floor entrance leads to the living room with a double sofa bed, a TV, a fireplace and a dining area. Two stairs next to the living room lead up to a hallway room with a double sofa bed, two double bedrooms, and one bathroom with shower. Access to the first floor via a wooden staircase: here guests will find a spacious, well-equipped kitchen, one double bedroom, and one bathroom with hydromassage tub. All the rooms have air conditioning and mosquito screens. Location Casale Grignano is in a hilly, panoramic location in a farm, part of a hunting reserve which overlooks the Arno valley south-east of Florence. There is a great view of the surrounding countryside, vineyards and olive groves. The property is in total peace and quiet, surrounded by fields and woods, whilst still being close to a small town with all kinds of shops, including a fashion outlet. Facilities The farmhouse has wifi, air conditioning and mosquito screens in the bedrooms, central heating, a baby bed, a high chair, complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer in the bathrooms, parking within the property. Services The price includes: bathroom, bedroom and kitchen linen (changed weekly), internet, water, gas (heating not included), electricity (air conditioning not included), a high chair and a baby bed. Upon request and to be paid for at the property are dinners, cookery courses, hired help and a babysitter. Important information The swimming pool is open from May 1st to September 30th. Access to the house is via 1.2 km of gravel road suitable for SUV but not for sporty/low cars. The owner lives next door in a completely independent house separated by a wall. The owner has a Japanese dog farm and can therefore offer dog owners care for their pets, at a fee of 25 euros per day.Activities and Distances The farmhouse is not far from the motorway, making it easy to reach famous areas of Tuscany that are not far from Florence and from the Chianti area. Shopping lovers will want to visit “The Mall”, a major fashion outlet just 25 km away in Incisa Valdarno (close to the motorway).
