Veteran's Cabin Shimla - Stargazing, By Baan Homes

A quiet homestay in the middle of a jungle full of oak trees, made by my father who has served in army, that's why the name veteran's cabin. The cabin follow Scandinavian design in architecture with A shape and is made with rocks from outside and pine wood from inside which makes it very warm during winter months. To survive the harsh winters of Shimla, we've now replaced wood stove with an electric heater and electric blanket in the cabin so you don't feel cold even if it's snowing outside. The space Our property is totally surrounded by the deep oak woods and there's not much of anything except pure nature. Property is fenced and secured by a gate. Cabin has a main bedroom (double bed) with attached washroom and another bedroom in the attic (double mattress). There's a balcony with mountain View on one side and shimla city lights on the other, perfect for day and night. Cabin also have a spacious outdoor area on the right hand side apart from the balcony if you want to party under stars. We've a basic veg menu at property to choose from and there's kitchen and caretaker available who stays 15-20 meters down the cabin if you need any help with anything. Guest access Guest will have to send their IDs and do a entry on the register for the check in process to be completed Self check in is also available on request Other things to note We have Wifi at the property and also Jio & Airtel 5g works really well. We don't allow loud music at night after 10PM Room service is available from morning 8AM to night 9PM in winters, 8:00AM to 10PM in summers. There's additional charge for bonfire at property We've a basic veg menu available at property to choose As it's a homestay, we provide home cooked fresh meal. You'll have to inform a bit early about all your orders. We don't cook or serve non-veg items , it can be ordered from a cafe who does delivery on extra charges.
