The Dam Lake House-Relax and Enjoy the Views!

"The Dam Lake House" is a Beautiful Lakefront Home on Sunrise Lake! Enjoy the great sunsets from this property that has ~150 feet of lake front with a shallow walk in beach area. Come in summer to enjoy the swimming, the Fall to enjoy the great views of the foliage changing or come in Winter to enjoy the snowmobiling, great ice fishing or skiing at close by Gunstock Mtn (35 min). This home was designed with care and can fit many families needs or groups of friends. The space Our place on Sunrise Lake is set apart by being one of the more private spaces on the lake that abuts the lakes Dam. This home was finished September of 2023. The home is well appointed with everything you'd need for your stay (linens, bath towels, beach towels, etc). Enjoy great views and experiences - whether your passion is fishing for bass on the dock, relaxing or swimming on the private beach, or roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. In the Fall enjoy the broad sweeping views this home has to offer of the foilage changing and finally in the Winter enjoy skiing nearby at Gunstock, ice fishing, or snowmobile along the nearby trails. This home truly is a year round paradise. We work really hard and take pride in our home. If you are celebrating a little occasion or here to just to relax, we like to add simple little touches to make your stay more welcoming! We enjoy spending time with our families here. We love this house and want others to enjoy it as much as we do when we are not there. Please Note: *Booking implies that all guests agree to follow all House Rules. Important parts of the house rules are but are not limited to - No gatherings, no large get togethers and no parties allowed; only registered guests can be there at any time. House Rules: There are cameras on the premises on the exterior of the home: They are located at the main entry points to the property, dock, driveway, side of the house, and the two front doors. They are used to ensure guest safety, adherence to guest policy, and reviewed as needed for any other purpose. Trash: ALL TRASH MUST BE BAGGED. (Trash bags supplied) There are two trash barrels meant to support your trash needs during your stay. If there is loose trash in barrels the trash will NOT be picked up and will result in a fee, renter will be charged ( $100 per barrel). Owner’s rooms/storage are locked: There are 4 interior doors that are locked. Entry into these rooms or evidence of entry will result in immediate termination of rental without refund. If entry is found after stay fines will be levied. NO large Gatherings or Parties: ONLY registered guests are allowed on the property. This limit is strictly enforced. If the limit is exceeded all guests including the renter will be asked to vacate the property without a refund If you wish for additional registered guests to stay, this can be discussed at a potential fee per day per guest ONLY IF presented prior to your stay but will not always be approved. No Pets: This is a pet free home to avoid damage and potential impact to future renters with allergies. No Septic damaging products allowed: Examples are: Feminine products, or products with bleach. Wipes must go in garbage, not down the drain. There is no garbage disposal, all food and grease need to be removed to the trash. Additional fees will apply. (Starting at $400 for septic drain + treatment fees). Abutting Dam: The Dam we abut provides a great view but is town owned. The town has asked us to inform visitors not to use the dam. The Dam is to the left of the Concrete wall next to our beach. Evidence of non-adherence can result in fines or the need to vacate the property without refund. NO SMOKING OR VAPING ON THE PROPERTY: If the smell of smoke or vaping is within the home or any evidence of smoking or vaping or any related residue, butts, joints, etc. is found on the property you will be levied a fine starting at $1,000. Keep Skis and Snowboards Outside: Please ensure that skis and snowboards are kept outside. Any damage cleaning fees arising from this will result in fines. Dock Use: there is a dock on the property. There is no authorized use of the dock for docking your own personal craft. The owners crafts are docked here and will be covered. Any attempt to uncover, use, or damage the boats will result in immediate termination of the rental and dismissal from the property. Fines will also be levied for damages found as a result of these actions. All other items: documented damage done during your stay will require cost for repair/replacement for any item. Guest access The entire home is being rented, however the owners bedroom(s) are locked and not included as part of the space - these spaces were not listed in the descriptions of the home so no need to be concerned - everything you saw in the listing is available for your use. Enjoy the lake, beach, lawn, patio, decks, grill, dock and firepit. IMPORTANT - Any power craft on dock are the owners and are not part of rental. Any attempted use will result in the immediate termination of the rental without refund. Any damage to these crafts by renters will be the responsibility of the renter to cover. *Please note, all Kayaks/Paddleboards/swim mat, Grill and other summer items are only available from memorial day to columbus day (indiginous peoples day). Other things to note There is no access allowed to the Dam, or on the grass to the left of our property. The Dam provides great views but no trespassing is allowed.
