Dri's Little Corner - Sana

Our property is located in São Bento, a charming area of native forest with century-old trees and lots of fresh air. We are in a small and charming rural community. If you are tired of the city, the chaos and the fast-paced routine, Cantinho da Dri is perfect to take a break, recharge your batteries here over a weekend of rest and mental cleansing, it's the right thing to do! We suggest some tours: food cooked on a wood stove, visits to the workshops, guided hikes to Peito do Pombo and others. The space Enjoy the attractions during the day in the region that offers waterfalls, overlooks and delicious restaurants, or simply enjoy the quiet life in the house. Experience a stay with all the charm that the mountains offer, with its pure air that is peculiar to the countryside. The beauty of this high haven is in the details. We spent most of the eight months personally building the house, thinking about the accessories and utensils inside it. My goal was to create a customized and secluded space for your occasion. The chandelier, romantic with its cozy light, the lamp, the decorative details, each position for the glass windows was installed so that you can observe the most beautiful points of the landscape, the choice of woods, all the details were created specifically to enhance your experience and were executed by our own hands. This family came together to build a dream retreat that we always wanted to present. Upon arrival, park your car in the reserved area and make yourself at home. Our entrance door will introduce you to the entire structure that was designed for days of great comfort and rest. If you are a cooking fan, we have our kitchen with a countertop, 5-burner cooktop, oven and basic utensils for tasty meals. If you need any special utensils, just ask us. We have a very efficient frost-free refrigerator, and all the utensils are brand new. The bed is strategically positioned to offer a beautiful view, so you can wake up to an incredible setting. Enjoy your breakfast on our balcony, listening to the birds and feeling the mountain breeze, or at night, don't hesitate to pull the blanket and enjoy the hammock to contemplate the stars. It's fantastic (if you're a wine fan, don't forget your favorite brand). Upon entering, you will notice that the generous windows and doors allow for natural sunlight to enter the house, complementing the central fixture and all the wood we have chosen for a cozy atmosphere. Linen cushions and pillows await you for relaxing. In the bathroom, our charming window will allow you to bathe overlooking the entire forest; don't worry, it will be higher than all the trees. It is important to reinforce that the entire construction was designed to integrate nature and we took great care during the execution. Our sewage treatment system is sustainable and ecological, and all the water that supplies the house comes from a nearby spring. The water collected is returned to nature in the correct and sustainable way. After all, we treat this space as a sanctuary and nature deserves our respect. In our little corner, you can move the chairs at will to the balcony or backyard, use them as best suits your stay. We have a smart TV, so feel free to enjoy your favorite movie/series. One of the most fun aspects of this property is that it offers the opportunity to experience true integration with nature without sacrificing any of the comforts of normal life. Oh, and you'll have daily visits in the morning and late afternoon from cattle that always come very close to the fence. I love it when I can get up close. You'll find new, comfortable beds, pillows, and bedspreads! You'll be in the mountains, so bring your warm pajamas and, if you wish, you can bring your bedding or additional pieces. We DO NOT offer bath towels and a sheet/pillowcase set. We are a 15-minute walk from Poço do São Bento. A very private place for a delightful waterfall bath. Other things to note To get to our property, approximately 5 km of dirt road will be traveled from the Sana Portal. But don't worry, the road is very good. ABOUT PETS We have chosen (for now) not to accept pets. However, if necessary, please consult us and we will evaluate each case with care. WIFI We have Wi-Fi in the house, but it's not fiber optic. We bought a Starlink antenna that works by satellite. After all, we're in the middle of the mountain… It works great!
