There is a fully-equipped kitchen for those days when you feel like cooking your favorite homemade meal or baked goods. No hot plate and microwave only area, it’s a full on kitchen! There’s also a separate dining room with bar cart area, as well. All of the central living area and main bedroom are flanked with large picture windows that overlook a meadow with a babbling brook in the foreground and stunning Sierra views as the backdrop. No need to share a room in someone’s house or feel hemmed into a small studio when you can enjoy the full run of this darling 1300+ square foot home. No adjoining walls, just space all around! You’ll also have a single car attached garage with large carport and shed in which to store all of you outdoor adventure gear! The back deck has amazing views from the covered table where you will be enjoying a great little secluded backyard area with vistas that never get old. Guest access The guests are welcome to the entire property including the front and back yards, the single car garage and an additional covered carport. There is almost unlimited parking (well...slight exaggeration). The garage has a remote control and mounted keypad with your private code. Other things to note The home is conveniently located in downtown Gardnerville. Everything town has to offer is right out your front door, yet you are also secluded in a quiet and quaint neighborhood. One of the area's most famous Basque restaurants is a 4 minute walk, with coffee shops, numerous grocery stores, gift shops, and casino only a 10 minute walk away. Walking and biking paths are within yards of the home. The street dead ends into a beautiful park with a creek and tennis courts. The newer Community Center is either an 8 minute walk through the park or a 3 minute drive away. It boasts racquetball, a climbing wall, pickle ball courts, an indoor walking track, weight room, cardio, spinning classes, etc. No need to get on the computer or phone to check the ski conditions, just wake up and look at the mountains from your bed! Winter skiing and snowshoeing are just minutes from the house. Heavenly Ski Resort is a 23 minute drive and Kirkwood is 42 minutes from front door to lift. Snowshoeing in Hope Valley and The Faye Luther trail system is within 15 minutes. Lake Tahoe area beaches, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, casinos, etc. are all just a 20-25 minute drive, making this valley location a premier spot to access all of the adventuring you want!
