The space Welcome to The Masthope Mountain Guesthouse! Highlights: *****Spacious three-level home with an immersive "treehouse" feel with a wooded backyard with a pond. *****Open-concept layout, fully stocked kitchen and a cozy wood-burning fireplace. Ideal for groups to hang out together. **Comfortable 3BR layout featuring two King beds, a Queen bed and a fun bunk bed set up. *****Ground-level recreation room with ping-pong, pool, foosball, darts, and a large-screen TV, and a unique child-friendly nook room affectionately named the "Eagle’s Nest." *****Charming and cozy three-season pine 3-season room *****Fire pit, elevated deck, paddleboards, kayak, and fishing rods provided for guest use. ***** Access to resort-style community amenities: 2 pools (1 w/ slide and splash pad), lake, beach, fitness center, tennis/pickleball, and mini golf. ***** Horse stables for riding and a petting zoo. ***** Close proximity to Ski Big Bear Mountain for winter sports and world-class spa/golf at Woodloch Resort. Large windows throughout the newly renovated, three-level house offer an immersive "treehouse" feel, overlooking the tranquil pond. Gather & Relax: The open-concept main floor seamlessly connects the fully stocked kitchen and inviting living room, where a wood-burning fireplace creates a warm ambiance for everyone to enjoy. Breezy Solarium: Step into the charming three-season room with its fresh pine walls – the perfect spot for peaceful morning coffees or unwinding with a good book amidst nature's tranquility and refreshing breeze. Restful Nights: Main Floor Sanctuary (BR 1): Features a comfortable king-size bed. The Pier Room (BR 2 - 2nd Floor): Offers another relaxing king-size bed. The Exploration Room (BR 3 - 2nd Floor): A fun and spacious room with a bunk bed (twin over full) plus a twin trundle, and an additional queen bed, comfortably accommodating larger groups. Fun & Games: Head to the ground-level recreation room for hours of entertainment! Challenge each other to ping-pong, pool, foosball, or darts, dive into board games, or enjoy movie nights on the large screen TV. "Eagles Nest" A unique and cozy nook for children: Discover a unique, child-friendly hideaway where little ones can have fun with the plush bean bags and set the mood with their preferred LED light colors. Outdoors - Adventure & Relaxation Await: Embrace the beauty of nature right outside your door. Our property boasts abundant amenities to enjoy the outdoors, including: elevated deck, a fire pit with serene wooded views, two paddleboards, one kayak, and fishing rods (fishing permit required). Active Fun: Get your game on with provided pickleball and tennis racquets/balls. Masthope Community Amenities (5-Minute Drive - Amenity Guest Passes Required): Resort-Style Living: Experience the fantastic amenities of the Masthope Mountain Community! Purchase daily amenity passes ($10/person) at the Community Management Office to access: Two pools: one with slides and a splash pad. The other Olympic size pool to relax or swim laps. Lake access with a beach, paddle boats, and kayaks. Well-equipped fitness center. Fun for all ages at the mini golf course Horse stables with a petting zoo - must call in advance for reservations! More to Explore: our community also has basketball, volleyball, tennis and pickleball courts, bocce ball, and shuffleboard. Want to have a picnic? Head over to the community's private park by the Delaware River! Convenient Dining & Entertainment: Within a 5-minute drive, find The Summit Restaurant and Tiki Bar at the Lodge. The Lodge also has an arcade and the Marketplace for sandwiches and miscellaneous grocery items. Winter Fun at Ski Big Bear at Masthope: Enjoy skiing, snowboarding, and tubing during the winter months. Lift tickets can be purchased online or in person at the mountain. Discount offered for rental guests! Guest access We will assign you a temporary entry code for the front door smart lock. There is a 36" wide by 6' ramp for easy access to the main floor. There's also a basement door for ground level access. Other things to note OPTIONAL daily amenity passes ($10 /day /per person 2+ yrs or older). We recommend you purchase them on a daily basis at the Community Office because there are no refunds for inclement weather. Amenity passes are required for: pools, lake/beach, fitness center, mini golf and horse stables. We have a large driveway however guests can only park a maximum of 4 cars at night. This is mandated by our Community rules and Township ordinance. No street parking. Guests will be required to pay for violations. There is no central air conditioning however, for use during warm temperatures, there's a powerful unit for the 1st floor open space, a window A/C unit in each bedroom as well as ceiling fans in each room. Open windows often works wonders due to the breeze coming from the pond. For security reasons, there are two exterior security cameras: one above the front staircase pointing at the driveway and the doorbell next to the front door. For the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit, we supply a limited amount of wood based on your stay. Please note that local fire bans can be mandated by our local fire dept. We will inform you if the fire pit cannot be used due to restrictions.
