This charming 2800-square-foot home offers a level entry, providing ample space for relaxation and outdoor activities among mature pine trees. THE VINTAGE COTTAGE As you step inside, you'll discover a well-appointed layout designed for comfort and convenience. The main level features three separate family/living rooms, each offering unique amenities. One family room delights with granite countertops, a wine fridge, a sink, and cherry wood hardwood floors, with easy access to the backyard for outdoor enjoyment. The second family room is cozy with a gas log fireplace and offers a comfy leather sofa near the dining room, perfect for playing games and making memories. The kitchen is a chef's delight, showcasing granite tile counters, a gas stove, and wood cabinets, stocked with almost everything you would need to cook for the whole family/group. Adjacent to the kitchen, a smaller living room boasts a wood stove, and TV, and offers easy access to both the front and back yards, creating an inviting indoor-outdoor living space. For added convenience, the laundry room also provides access to the backyard. A single bedroom with a full size bed is located adjacent to the TV room, allowing for an extra guest or friend to stay over. Upstairs, in the new wing, the master suite offers bay windows, a King size bed and a full bath with a shower, skylight and an indoor Jacuzzi tub creating a serene retreat. The upstairs area also features a spacious bedroom with two queen beds, bay windows for natural light, a futon, and a TV. Near the middle of the home is a charming Vintage Cottage suite upstairs. This suite features two separate sleeping spaces connected by a short hallway and full bathroom. One side of the suite features a queen bed, TV and wood burning stove. The other side features a twin bed and desk. A roll away extra twin bed is located in the closet if you would like to accommodate one more person in this suite. The yard boasts inviting spaces for family play and gatherings such as barbecues, all while being within walking distance of world-class skiing at Heavenly Ski Resort, hiking trails, Edgewood Golf Resort, world-class dining, and exciting casino action. Bathrooms come equipped with cotton towels, toilet paper, and make-up towels. Parking is plentiful with four+ vehicles in the driveway. NO street parking. Guest access You have full access to the home during your stay, with the exception of a few locked owners closets, a storage shed and garage. Feel free to stream any of your subscriptions on our Smart TV, make a home-cooked meal for your family in our kitchen, or jump in your car and head out to the South Shore for shopping or an epic view of the Gondola at Heavenly. Other things to note The front door code will be provided to you after you book with us. You will have access to our digital guidebook and house manual so you can enjoy a stress-free stay with us at the cottage. We are pet-friendly! Please reach out to us directly to discuss price and availability. Note: While the cottage wing of the home has a mini split A/C system, the rest of the home does not have A/C. This is quite common for Lake Tahoe homes. Please be advised that certain amenities are subject to seasonal availability due to weather conditions. These amenities—including but not limited to BBQ grills, outdoor seating, fire tables, beach chairs, ice melt, and similar features—are dependent on weather and operational considerations (e.g., often not available at stores during transitional seasons). Availability may vary based on seasonal factors. If you have any questions regarding the readiness of amenities during transitional seasons, please feel free to contact us. While we strive to maintain access to all amenities year-round, outdoor amenities are generally only available during June-September. If you would like to host any sort of gathering at our home, please discuss this before arrival and we will try to accommodate your request. Please treat the home with respect as there is a deposit and background check on all bookings. Profiles that are brand new with no prior reviews, or have less than 3 reviews total at a 4.5 rating or less out of 5 will be required to answer additional questions. The damage deposit is fully refundable at the end of a reservation assuming there is no damage to the property or house rules violated. Please note that profiles with a review rating of 4.5 stars or less will not be allowed to book our property on an instant book basis and if for whatever reason the reservation is confirmed through the system, the reservation may be canceled. For guests with new profiles without reviews, these requests will be reviewed manually and will be subject to screening and questioning before a reservation may be confirmed.
