Description
My place is close to the beach, family-friendly activities, nightlife, public transport, and the airport. You’ll love my place because of The casual laid back setting of AMI. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). The space This property is easy to spot with its large magnificent sea grape tree in the front yard that provides shade for both your car as well as your afternoon siesta or a ice cold tea. The structure built in 1972 is a perfect representation on the first boom years. The inside has the original layout with tiled floors and and awning windows. Just like in the 70's. The outside walls are made of cinder block for sturdy storm resistance. and in the fifty years since construction it has never been affected by hurricanes on bit. Other things to note The island is divided up into many land use zones. All of which have both positive and negative effects on both residents and property investors. My homesteaded house for example can only be rented for one time in a year and the minimum length of stay is 183 days. This makes for the quietest neighborhood you have ever seen. Almost every house is a second home. In the summer there are times when I can walk out into the cul-de-sac and see nothing but empty houses. Even behind those house are large expanses of open water. Other parts of the island are more open to visitors and welcome short term rentals. Which is why I have chosen to invest in these areas my guests have much more access to the best that AMI has to offer in a centrally located spot. With easy access to both trolley lines and businesses as well as the beach being just a short walk. The street, although quiet and less traveled, has access from both the East and the West. It can even be said that it is somewhat of a historical street from the stand point that there is little development in the way of tall houses. This gives it more of an original small town family feel, the way the island used to be, with quaint smaller houses and duplexes. Currently these seventies style dwellings are rapidly disappearing. Investors are not interested in small houses because they will never turn a profit. Local is government is also advocating for the demise of these homes due to the lack of revenue they produce. Every year heaping on more and more taxes and regulations to force out small investors and increase the size of government and government spending. In some ways this can be a good thing though. For example there are some elements of society that will never even see, much less visit, or spend a single night on this island. You will never find a homeless encampment, low income housing or any sort of nefarious den of inequity. Never will you hear of anyone complaining about living amongst millionaires and billionaires. Instead, what you will find are lots of people who are thrilled to be living or visiting here. I like to refer to this as the "happy to be here zone". And now a few words from our sponsor. All hitherto and a fore mentioned references to minimum stays in the previous decades, years, months, weeks, days or moments, via any form of communication including but not limited to written advertisement, verbal, or sign language, are superseded by the following; The minimum stay requirements as set forth in the city's Land development Code is seven days. These zoning codes and there meaning is often times both distressing and confusing to people who wish to stay for less time. However I am here to guide you through all of bureaucracy and make your stay everything your looking for, all the while saving you money. Let me know which days you are interested in and I will make it happen whenever possible.
