Monkey Sea House, Unit 2

Come relax at this peaceful place to stay!! "Monkey Sea, 1 & 2" is located on the Queens Highway, on Three Sisters Beach, 5 min. from the airport and 15 min. to the Georgetown itself, in the area of Mount Thompson. (The pin Google places us it at is not across from Jolly Hall, it’s actually across from Three Sisters beach. As there are no formal addresses on the island, the “pin” cannot be moved.) There are 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms on the 1st floor and the kitchen and living area upstairs each. The space Welcome to our beach-y home, built by Bahamian's on "island time"! We are are fixing it up American Style, but if you know anything about Exuma, everything takes a a long time! We have made it as homey as we can, and with each trip over we are bringing over more and more items. We love it here! The house is clean, across from the beach, and is, to us, just perfect for a Bahamian get-away. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths on the first floor. The "primary" has a king bed with an attached full bathroom, as well as, a washer/dryer. The second and third bedrooms both have queen beds. The bedrooms all have new mattresses and new linens. And the bathrooms have new towels, shampoo, conditioner, hand and bath soap. Upstairs you'll find the kitchen, living area, and outdoor rooftop deck. The kitchen has dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils, coffee machine, microwave, blender, toaster, etc. And the deck has a table and chairs, as well as, four lounge chairs. Monkey Sea 1 & 2 sits across the street from the Beach. Basically, you would walk out the front door, walk across the street and down onto the beach, all in all, about 100 feet. It is a very quiet beach meaning 99% of the time you will have the beach to yourself. You can walk a mile in one direction and miles in the other, and we would be surprised if you see more than a few people at any given time. The living area upstairs and the outdoor deck both have views of the beach, the sunrise, and the sunset. We have been coming to the island for 7+ years and finally decided to buy property here. We can help plan your time, from car rentals (which we recommend) to grocery stores, to restaurants and excursions. We can even have everything pre-stocked for you as well! Thank you! Guest access Each side can accommodate up to 6 guests. Other things to note We can also assist with booking excursions, stocking the kitchen, booking car rentals, massages, making dinner reservations. There is a washer dryer in both units. A note about Service Animals. While we welcome all legal Service Animals and understand we cannot (nor would want to) charge a "Pet Fee", we will charge an additional cleaning fee, of up to $150, if warranted. It will be on a case by case basis. We ourselves have a Service Animal so we are well versed with the legal restrictions and limitations. We have checked with Airbnb and they have told us , in writing, we are well with our Host rights regarding this, and again, it is on a case by case basis. Pet Fee's are in case of ruined floors, or ripped couches or screen doors for example. But Service Animals are trained so we know the above examples won't happen. Animal Cleaning Fees are different. Most animals have dander or some sort of scent, which many people are allergic, some highly allergic at that. In turn, in order for the comfort of all guests, we are imposing a potential, again, on case by case basis, cleaning fee. We also charge for early check in request or late check out request. Fees are depending on how early or late you’re requesting, these fees could be anywhere from 100-200 dollars per request. Thank you for your understanding.
