The open-plan living area is arranged with a comfortable sofa, a log-burning fireplace, and large windows that bring in the scenery. A compact kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, and everything needed for easy meals. Sleeping arrangements include a bedroom off the mezzanine with two single beds that can be combined into a super king, and a mezzanine sleeping area with the same configuration. Beds are made up with premium linens and soft pillows. The conservatory has floor-to-ceiling glass on three sides and a wood-burning fireplace for cooler evenings. Blinds can be adjusted to keep the space comfortable in summer. A dining table and relaxed seating make it an ideal spot for unhurried meals or reading by the fire. The sauna features a wood-burning stove that provides gentle steam, while the adjacent washroom includes a shower and an eco-friendly incineration toilet. From here, doors open directly to the terrace where the wood-fired hot tub overlooks the trees and water. Outdoors, you’ll find a charcoal grill, a large terrace for lounging, and plenty of space to enjoy the quiet. Other things to note STEEP HILL ON DRIVE In very icy conditions the road to the house has one steep hill that can be difficult to climb. We plough the road consistently after snowfall but sometimes road sand is needed. Should you have difficulty there is a box at the top of the hill full of gravel and a shovel that can be used to gain traction. Alternatively, you can park at the bottom of the hill on the side and walk approximately 0.8km to the cottage. HOT TUB The wood-fired hot tub is available at no extra cost although it does need to be filled and heated which takes in total approximately 6 hours. It is very important to make sure the tub is completely filled before lighting a fire (otherwise the stove will break). We have very clear instructions and are able to assist you if necessary. CONSERVATORY Please note that the conservatory is not heated during the winter. RESPECTING THE NEIGHBOURHOOD Please keep voice, noise and music at a considerate volume to maintain a peaceful atmosphere for everyone. We are committed to responsible hosting and respect the local community. A Minut sensor on the patio monitors noise levels to ensure they stay within a respectful limit during quiet hours. It does not record conversations, maintaining your privacy at all times. PETS Pets are welcome at this property, with a maximum of two allowed per stay.
