The facades of this historic house and other buildings are protected by law. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property and the backyard patio. Other things to note I am here 24/7 to help make your visit remarkable. You will be welcomed with a Potomac gift set as well as a printed version of both a property and local community welcome info kit. I will send you both info booklets before your arrival to Potomac Court as well. We will provide you and your group with one FREE visitor parking permits during your stay at Potomac Court. You will need to supply both the license plate and state of registration in order for us to request the permit from the city. We do NOT have a designated parking spot however, there is usually plenty of parking in the court and surrounding zone 1 area. Smoking, parties, and pets are not allowed on the property under any circumstances. If there is a "special pet" exception made, there will be an additional one -night deposit as well as an additional nightly "pet fee" added the booking. There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not. We do not permit towels or linens to be removed from the premises under any circumstances. Laundry pods and dryer sheets are provided . Both an iron and ironing board are located in the Master Bedroom closet. There are clothes hangers and luggage racks in all three bedrooms that may be utilized during your stay. We ask that you please use the luggage racks provided and not the beautiful white linen beds for your well traveled bags/luggage. The windows are original (1820's) to the home and can not open/close, except for the left side in the Master Bathroom. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen articles during your stay. This historic 2-level home was built approximately 200 years ago and is deemed historic by the Alexandria Historic Foundation Early Buildings Survey. Please treat our home with the love and respect it deserves so that we can continue to preserve and share this history with you! This home provides self-check-in through a smart lock located on the front entry door. A code will be provided to you after you book with us. ONLY registered guests staying at the property have access to the code/entry. On-street guest parking permits are available upon request.
