Only a couple miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway!! Contemporary cabin with all the bells and whistles constructed with hand hewn logs from 1850- two stories with an open sitting room eye level to the tree canopy. Gas logs, washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen. Just arrive and relax! The space We have three porches attached to the house so there's lots of room to sit back and rock in one of our rockers. One queen size bed, 2 single beds (bunk bed), and a antique working murphy bed (full sized). The house has been beautifully designed with antiques and fun and unique features throughout. Pottery sculpted door pulls (from a local potter) and a gargoyle on the outside chimney this cabin is must see! We have two cats that are super friendly and loving and love our guests. Please let us know if you are allergic. Guest access Full access to the house but not to the storage shed adjacent to the house. Other things to note There are animals that live in the cabin and they can be boarded but the guest needs to pick up the cost for this which is $32 a day. Prior arrangements need to be made at least a week before the arrival of a guest. The home will be cleaned prior to guests arrival to insure comfort. We will take the trash off the premises but there is no trash pickup from the city or county.
