Other things to note Our Story In 1980, we began to weave the story of Casa do Véu. A dream that gradually came true. First, we were an inn, Repousada, with 3 chalets heated with a fireplace, 1 sauna, and a dining room. At that time, there was no electricity in the region; lighting was provided by candles and oil lamps. Today, we can hardly conceive of such a reality. Five years later, we built two more chalets so that we could accommodate more guests interested in our little corner of peace and harmony with quality. So many changes, already with electric light in Alto da Maromba, in 2010, we opened our structure for a more intimate form of lodging, reformulated some concepts and reached the idea of a space-home, Casa do Véu, a place of welcome and meeting for friends and family.
