The space This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom modern desert home designed by Wendell Burnette is the perfect wellness retreat – complete with a private meditation room. The architecture embraces the Japanese concept of Wabi-Sabi and weaves in natural water elements, like a koi pond and zen walk, making it a truly peaceful escape. It is equipped with smart automation technology, putting total home control at your fingertips – from unlocking the door to turning on the lights. There is also high-speed WiFi (300+ mbps) and 3 state-of-the-art workstations with monitors and ergonomic chairs, so you don’t have to fully unplug to unwind. A full fitness center also awaits you with a Peloton, Ergatta rower, treadmill, weight rack, yoga mats and sauna. Just take your things and go. -Bedrooms- The property has 3 bedrooms, two with a king bed and one with a queen. All mattresses use the latest in sleep technology with extremely soft bedding sets so you can get a better night’s sleep than you do at home. The primary bedroom has a wine fridge, walk-in closet and peaceful outdoor terrace with loop chairs, zen walk, outdoor shower and fire pit. There is also a glass door which opens up to a koi pond with pellets to feed the fish (once per day). A baby crib can be set up upon request. Please read the Things To Note section to learn more about this property and whether or not it is suitable for your child. -Kitchen- The kitchen is fully outfitted for all of your cooking needs – with a Nespresso coffee maker, cooking basics (oil, salt & pepper), top-grade cookware, appliances like a toaster and a blender, and dishwasher. The dining table can fit up to 8. -Workstations- The property has super fast WiFi (300+ mbps) and three amazing state-of-the-art workstations, each complete with a 38” monitor, 4K camera, high-quality microphone and ergonomic Herman Miller Aeron chair. Two of the desks are sit-to-stand, while one is a fixed desk. -Fitness Center- The private gym is fully available for use and located in the garage with a Peloton, treadmill, Ergatta rower, weight rack and sauna. The outdoor terraces are also a gorgeous spot for some sunset yoga. As a note, the fitness center does not have AC and is designed for you to open the garage door and welcome in the natural air. -Living Space- The living room has Sonos speakers and a smart TV so you can stream your favorite shows or movies while simultaneously taking in desert views. It also has skylights throughout to welcome in the natural light. There is a wine room with a fireplace that converts to a fully outdoor patio-room, so you can sip wine and take in the stunning views! A private meditation room is found via a “hidden” door, so you can sneak away and have some peace and quiet. -Bathrooms- The home has two and a half spacious bathrooms with two standard showers, one outdoor shower and a Japanese soaking tub. If you are not familiar with using a Japanese soaking tub – they are extra hot so please use caution. We provide luxury bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash), premium towels and robes, and even a Dyson hair dryer so you don’t have to pack your own! -24/7 Concierge- We are available for our guests 24/7 via our Concierge leading up to and throughout your stay to answer your questions, provide recommendations, and more. Other things to note We want you to feel at home and have a restful, stress-free stay. There is no to-do list when you check-out. Just take your things and go! The home is on two-levels and requires stairs for front-door access. The stunning natural water features may attract wildlife common to the area including birds, bugs, lizards and scorpions. It is incredible for those who love to nature-watch but may not be for everyone.. We welcome your children but you are solely responsible for their safety and they cannot be left unattended. If you have a special request for your child (crib, high-chair, car seat, kid-friendly flatware) let us know. No smoking or vaping inside. Open flames including candles are also prohibited. Exceptions are birthday candles or fire in a designated fire pit or fireplace. WILDLIFE Do not touch wildlife. The desert is full of birds, scorpions, deer, bugs, and lizards. It is incredible for those who love to nature-watch, but may not be for everyone or suitable for small children. AC Fully air conditioned, except in the garage where the fitness center is located. This is designed for you to open the garage door while working out to welcome in the natural air. ACCESSIBILITY This home contains features that may be difficult for children, pets, and elderly. This two-level home requires stairs for front-door access, and is situated on a steep hill with balconies from the bedrooms. For beds, note that there are steps leading to the bed in Bedroom 3. Children and pets cannot be left unattended. SAFETY This home is perched on a hilly site surrounded by water features and natural wildlife. Children cannot be left unattended. PET FEE AND POLICY This home is pet-friendly and welcome to your furry friends during your stay. However, I do have some rules and a pet fee to preserve our home’s delicate luxury furniture and linens. • Pets are strictly prohibited in beds, indoor or outdoor furniture, or spa facilities. • Pet owners will be responsible for damage and charged through their payment on file. • Our pet fee is $350 for up to 2 pets charged at check-out. The fee goes to the cleaner for the extra work required after a pet stays. NOTE: This fee does not cover damage by breaking the pet policy rules. Please note that we’ll be charging any extra damages done to the property by your pet.
