The space Our secluded, 3 bedroom Magic Fern home offers the best of both worlds; only 10 minutes from Hunter and 15 minutes from Windham mountain, this charming retreat nestled in the woods of East Jewett offers privacy and seclusion while still being close to all of the action. Skiing, hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, golfing, shopping, and more are all close by in this quintessential Catskills retreat. With a warm, spacious and retro-chic interior, The Magic Fern is the perfect place for a relaxing stay with friends and loved ones. The large windows offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Prepare your favorite meals in the fully equipped kitchen or barbecue and stargaze on the large outdoor deck. Access to all tv streaming apps through your log in details. Please note this home DOES NOT have ac and relies on the natural mountain breeze. Please do not park on the grass. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home. Please be respectful of the surrounding properties and try to keep the outdoor noise down when on the back deck from 10pm-7am. Other homes are not visible from the property. There is parking for 4 cars on the driveway. Winter Advisory: Our property is located in a mountain region where winter conditions can be unpredictable, including snow, ice, and freeze-thaw cycles that may impact driveway conditions. We strongly recommend that guests travel in a vehicle equipped with AWD/4WD and/or snow tires during the winter months (November–March). While we provide professional snow plowing after 4 inches of snowfall, icy conditions may still occur due to changing weather. We supply shovels and ice melt for guest use near the house, but guests are responsible for their own vehicle, including any necessary towing if they become stuck. For added safety, please check the weather forecast before your trip and allow extra travel time. If you have any concerns about road or driveway conditions, feel free to reach out before your arrival. Other things to note Windham Mountain Club is 15 minutes away and Hunter Mountain is 10 minutes away. Please ask us for any recommendations you might need or check out our guidebook!
