Sunny private room in a spacious apartment beside the Greenpoint Historic District in Brooklyn just north of Williamsburg. The space We are on a quiet side street in a very lively area, a short walk north of Williamsburg and within a few blocks of countless restaurants, little bodegas, public gardens, parks, health food shops, super markets, bars, the list goes on.. Public Transportation We are around the corner from the East River Ferry Line - my favorite (: - that can either shuttle you across the water directly to Mid-Town Manhattan or take you on a tour of Brooklyn's riverbanks and let you off by Wall Street. We are only 2 blocks from the Greenpoint station on the G train which will connect you to all the major lines that run through Manhattan. Its a 15 minutes walk to either the Bedford L or the Jackson street 7 stations which are both a single stop from Manhattan. Biking is also a great option, there are bike lanes down the street from us, and lots of public bike rental stations throughout the neighborhood if you want to take one for ride. Airport and Train Stations In light traffic JFK is about a 25 minute cab ride away and LaGuardia is about 15 minutes but at rush hour that timeframe can double or triple, so its much better to take public transit. Let me know if you need directions from the airports and I will give you the best options in relation to your arrival time. Penn and Grand Central station are about 15-25 minutes away via subway depending on what time of day you are traveling. * * * * Anything else.. I am always happy to answer questions.
