Aerie is a beautiful retreat on Frenchman Bay’s rocky coast, with stunning views of Mount Desert Island. Easy access to Acadia National Park. Sun-filled from morning 'til night, every room looks out over the bay. The cottage is very spacious with a large living/dining area, a fireplace, and a loft. Master suite with dressing room, and private bath. Two bedrooms and bath upstairs. Screened porch, large deck high above the water, and a roof deck perfect for stargazing. New! cable internet! The space This house is all about the view and the decks! Located at the end of a long shared drive, you can walk or bike to the summer community of Hancock Point. Visit the picturesque library, the tennis courts, the country inn, or swim or kayak from the wharf. The house has a well equipped kitchen with coffee grinder, food processor, etc., and many staples are provided. Gas grill and lobster pot on deck. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house ( 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths ) , well equipped kitchen, large living/dining library area, large open loft upstairs with access to roof deck, the large deck overlooking the bay, and a large screened porch. The basement and area under the deck are not included. Other things to note -There may be a Maine state Covid 19 quarantine for your state. Please check, or contact owner for more info. -Owner may be on premises in lower level space with separate entrance. That space is never rented. - New wifi!!! Provided through a Starlink satelite dish, it seems great, but it is new so we're not really sure.
