The space Upon arriving at the last property on the hill, approximately 60 meters above the ocean and with over 600m2 of land surrounded by native trees, fruit trees and exotic plants, you will have a beautiful view of a postcard-worthy horizon! You will have plenty of privacy to enjoy on your panoramic balcony overlooking the sea, canal, pond and famous Barra da Lagoa! Equipped with a beautiful bedroom with two full double beds, a simple kitchen with all the basics, and a modern bathroom with hot water. Guest access The canal separates us from the center of Barra da Lagoa and does not allow cars on the hill. You can only access the chalet by crossing the pedestrian bridge over the canal and walking through the easement that runs through the hillside community. The view of the mountains, exotic plants, colorful houses and friendly people make the walk a pleasant experience. The location is not desirable for everyone and is not recommended for people with mobility issues. Large suitcases and heavy equipment are not recommended. The beach, bus station, restaurants, bars and shops are a 10-minute walk away. The famous 'Boa Vista Trail' is just a 5-minute walk from the chalet. The trail offers 2 hours of incredible views of the entire island and takes you to two iconic beaches, Galheta and Praia Mole, famous for surfing and being very beautiful. Other things to note - Check-in 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. / Check-out 11:00 a.m. - Sometimes you may be bothered by mosquitoes and other insects (after all, we are in the forest). - There is no parking or car access on the mountain. There are several parking lots, public/free or private/paid, located in the center of Barra (10-minute walk). - Guests receive a key. You are required to pay a R$ 20 fee if the key is lost or damaged. - Barra da Lagoa has no ATMs. I recommend arriving with cash or you will need to go to Lagoa de Conceição to withdraw cash. - The property is not fenced, you may have visits from neighborhood dogs and cats, do not feel threatened. The neighborhood community and its animals are friendly and pleasant.
