This spacious garden apartment is close enough to downtown yet far enough away to enjoy nature's treasures. It is fully furnished and ready for any length of stay. It is located in the garden level of our home and has its own private entrance. Our property is beautiful and surrounded by trees, making it a friendly place for many wild birds. We live upstairs and are quiet, we have no children or *pets. The space *NO ANIMALS PLEASE: This is a hypoallergenic home. Our single-family home is owner occupied. We are both severely allergic to dogs, cats, furry animals, scents and fragrances. We clean the apartment between each guest and cannot risk exposure to distressing allergens. This house has a single Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning unit and allergens from the apartment will carry throughout the entire home by way of the cold air return. The Spacious Garden Apartment is completely private and has its own entrance. The decor is very relaxing with a mix of traditional and contemporary furniture. It's an open and light, one-bedroom apartment with a well-equipped kitchen and a spacious living room. The bedroom has a restful, queen-sized bed covered by one of Joanna's hand sewn quilts, two ample closets and a roomy dresser. The vintage writer's desk is perfect for working remotely. The laundry room is shared with us. It's in a room next to your apartment. Your privacy and space will not be compromised. If you are coming for remote work, relocating, an internship or visiting family or friends, the Spacious Garden Apartment is a home away from home! Guest access You have your own private apartment with 24/7 access by way of lock-box. Other things to note If you decide to request a stay, please tell us a little about yourself including your name and the nature of your stay. If you're bringing a guest, let us know the name of your guest as well. We are semi-retired and work from home. Our property is completely maintained by us. All communication will be direct, and you can expect quick and courteous replies to any questions or concerns. Heating and cooling are controlled by a single thermostat in our living area upstairs. Guest comfort is our main priority. Please let us know if you would like us to adjust the thermostat and we will gladly do that. If we are away, the temperature can be adjusted by using an app on our phone.
