The space The Lotus is a remote, two bed, one bath, tiny-house-on-wheels located just 15 mins from Big Basin State Park in Boulder Creek, CA. This home was thoughtfully designed down to the inch. It is a place to fuel inspiration or to simply take a break from the constant pull of the modern world. There is a king-sized primary bedroom with sliding doors for privacy and a lofted full-sized bedroom accessible by ladder. Cook to your heart's content in the surprisingly roomy and fully stocked kitchen, or fire up the charcoal BBQ out on deck. The loungy center of the home provides access to the large sunset-facing deck with unbelievable views, and a footpath leads to a tucked away luxurious spa from which to enjoy the cool, starry night. Access our private ridge-top trail. At the summit, discover tremendous views of the surrounding valleys and the perfect place to watch the sunrise/sunset. * We lost our previous tiny home on this spot to the wildfire of 2020 (you can read about how our past guests enjoyed that home under our other listing "Escher Tiny Cabin"), and The Lotus is a renewed and improved version 2.0. We hope it will delight even more. Around the property you will see signs of the burn mixed within fresh growth and new greens. Guest access You will have a whole corner of our property to yourself, secluded and private. It is a very spacious area with gravel driveway and paths, deck, hot tub, and the tiny home. You are also welcomed to hike on our ridge top trail, which starts right behind the home on our private grounds (but does go through other properties, a diversity of forests, for ~1.5-2hrs until joining the main road in town). Your host lives onsite in the larger home at the top. It is quite some distance away so the tiny home is visually and spatially secluded. Other things to note Washer/dryer is available upon request. They are located about 2 minutes walk away.
