The front yard has a patio, large lawn and attractive landscaping. The backyard has a lawn, landscaping, large patio, gazebo, and BBQ. The backyard borders the canal that flows into the Kawkalin River. The river feeds into Saginaw Bay/Lake Huron. Bring your boat and launch it into the Kawkalin River using a nearby boat launch. In addition, the Bay City State Park and the Tobico Marsh Nature area are a quick 5 minute drive. The State Park can also be accessed from the trail head located near Castaways (nearby Bar and Grill located on the Kawkalin River). The home is comfortably furnished and decorated in mid-century modern style with a mix of new and vintage pieces. The entire home has recently been remodeled with new paint and flooring throughout. The bathroom has radiant heat and new tile flooring. The home also has a stylish basement lounge that has an awesome sectional that provides a comfortable setting to watch a movie or stream your favorite TV shows on the large smart TV. The room also has a record player with a collection of vintage vinyl. Retro On The River is thoughtfully oriented to take advantage of the canal views as well as providing multiple access points to the raised patio deck. Guest access You will have access to the entire home, front yard and back yard. Laundry is located in the basement. Basement access is provided by the staircase located in the garage. There is also a half bathroom in the basement that can also be used if needed. The basement bathroom has not been remodeled but is fully functional with a toilet and vanity.
