Arboreal Room at Hayhurst Manor

Hayhurst Manor is a gorgeous modern home. Enjoy a soak in our hot tub surrounded by beautiful trees. This stylish place is perfect for couples or people looking for a staycation or travel stop. With fabulous restaurants and bars just minutes away, this is the ideal spot for whatever brings you to Portland. The living room and kitchenette are stocked with the equipment to cook and eat at home. There is a writing desk and chair in the bedroom and good wifi capable of handling video calls. The space The bedroom is in the basement unit of a three-story home. This bedroom has a writing desk and chair as a dedicated workspace. The dining area has a table that fits four people. The living room area has a couch and TV. The kitchenette has a full-size fridge, microwave, induction hot plate, toaster oven, air fryer, and necessary dishes. Guest access The kitchenette, dining room, living room, and bathroom are all on the same floor and shared with the guests of two other bedrooms. The hot tub is shared with everyone staying in Hayhurst Manor and Hayhurst Hideaway (the adjoining house.) During your stay My husband and I live next door and can come over to fix things or help as needed. Hablo un poco de espanol. You will run into the guests of our two other bedrooms in the main spaces. These guests may also have pets. You will also likely see our lovely cleaner, Jonathan, at some point. Residents live upstairs, so you will likely hear them. Other things to note The home is right next to Beaverton Hillsdale Highway, so there is quite a bit of road noise, but the windows inside insulate pretty well against the noise. Parking is on the West side of the house with a sign that says "Parking for Arboreal Room". Only one car is allowed per room. A French drain surrounds the back porch, so be careful not to step into it. The entrance to the unit is at the back of the house (third door to the right). It says, "Welcome Guests". Once you enter, you will go down a flight of stairs into the basement and see the Kitchenette. From there, go through the living area into the hall with the washer/dryer, and your door is on the right. *Your bedroom room has a door code we will send with check-in instructions.
