Our house is perfect for gathering and making memories with extended family and friends, with enough space to get some quiet time to yourself. Built for play and relaxation, there's something for all ages to enjoy here. Wifi, ping pong, foosball, lounge chairs, and you're always just steps from the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. This classic Florida beachfront home has recent updates with new furniture, fresh decor, comfy memory foam mattresses, and stylish accents. There is ample off-street parking for guests. (Keep to the hard pack/gravel, though. You'll have trouble if you park in the soft sand.) Two floors have four bedrooms and two bathrooms each. Each bedroom has a fan and extra blanket, dresser and night stands, and closet with hangers. There are three living areas with seating for 6-8 people each. Two of the living areas have TVs with Bluray players connected to Wifi and cable. Free Wifi access is included with rental. There is a kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot on each floor. The upper kitchen has a range and dishwasher, and is fully stocked with cookware. The lower kitchen has additional countertop cooking appliances. There is a dining area upstairs with a table that seats 10, and bar seating up/down for 10 more. The game area has a ping pong table, foosball table, hightop card table, and assortment of puzzles. There is a sun deck, a covered deck, and a gazebo for sub bathing or beach gazing from the shade. An outdoor shower is available for rinsing bodies and feet coming in from the beach. Note: This house does not have an elevator. Guests will need to be able to navigate stairs. The interior stairs are a spiral staircase with a lockable safety gate at the top. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer for your use. The whole 4000+ square feet is yours to enjoy, according to house rules. This oceanfront house has private access to the beautiful beaches of St. George Island. Just walk outside and you're there. A door code is provided prior to check in. I'm available if you need me but I do not reside at the property. Our house is on the East End of the island, about halfway between the lighthouse and the state park. It's peaceful, away from the public beach. For on the island travel, a bicycle will do. To get to nearby sites, like historic Apalachicola and picturesque nature preserves, you'll need a car. The charm of the area is its remoteness, which supports the world-class fishing and status as the most biodiverse watershed in the U.S. But that also makes it a bit of a trek to get here. There are accessible two airports. The closest is Tallahassee, Fl (75mi), the other is Panama City, FL (100mi). There are rentals available on the island for beach equipment (with delivery!), bicycles, paddle boards, and kayaks. There is a paved bike trail that runs the length of the island. There are guided paddling excursions, dolphin and sunset watching boat tours, shelling trips, nearby golf, art and boutique shopping, grocery options with fresh produce, and dare-we-say the world's best seafood.
