Kingston Cove is a hidden piece of paradise conveniently located on the South end of the Island in Shipyard Plantation. Our vacation homes are free standing and embrace their own beautifully landscaped yard, driveway and car port. The property is situated on a cul-de-sac and is secluded from the main roads. You will enjoy the serenity of the property whether your view is of the tranquil lagoon or the golf course. The Island and Shipyard Plantation offer a plethora of activities The space Each unit at Kingston Cove is free-standing private residence wonderfully equipped with all of the amenities of home. Each unit is identical on the inside. The only difference is your view: The even numbered units are located on the lagoon and the odd numbered units are located on the golf course. Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath units comfortably sleep 8 people with approximately 1500 square feet of living space. The bedroom arrangement consists of 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Each room has a ceiling fan, clock radio and hangers in the closets. The guest bathroom boasts a spacious tile shower and the master bathroom has an oversized Jacuzzi tub. The master bathroom also has a hair dryer. Televisions are located in the living room, master bedroom and queen bedroom. There is a DVD player in the living room. The fully stocked eat in kitchen will be more than adequate for your stay. Along with all of the major appliances, you will find the following items supplied for your convenience: The spacious living room is opened to the dining room and consists of a wet bar, wood burning fireplace and a desk area. Off of the living room is a very large screened in porch with a ceiling fan, round table and chairs. Adjacent to the screened in porch is a sun deck. The laundry room is located on the back porch and holds a full sized washer and dryer. There is also a laundry basket, an iron, ironing board, broom, dust pan, mop, pail and vacuum cleaner. Guest access You can access the Shipyard Plantation Beach in 15 minutes if you walk, 10 minutes if you ride a bike and 5 minutes if you drive a vehicle. Parking is free, but very limited. The closest public beach access is at the end of Pope Avenue. It is about an 8 minute drive. There is free parking at the end of Pope Avenue in a large lot on the right hand side. Shipyard Plantation has 27 holes that you will have access to at prevailing rates if you are a guest. Owners and some rentals (if included) will recieve a golf package which allows you to make one tee time a day where up to four people can play, cart fees are not included. With this golf package tee times can only be made 24 hours in advance. Other things to note Our large pool-deck area is dotted with lounge chairs, tables, and umbrellas and surrounded by tropical foliage and swaying palms. Enjoy a day in the sun, take a nap or just take in the beauty . The Kingston Cove pool is not heated . One of the most popular activities on Hilton Head Island is cycling and Hilton Head is a cycling paradise. It is recommended that you rent bikes while you are vacationing to take full advantage of all the trails and parks the Island has to offer. Please see the link provided on the right for a complete guide to bike trails and parks. All Kingston Cove owners listed on the deed will have use of 2 bikes free of charge during your stay. Kingston Cove has access to miles of scenic trails for you to explore through Shipyard Plantation or travel to the beach or an array of shops nearby on Hilton Head. So head outdoors and ride the impressive pathway system for cyclists.
