The space Welcome to our private, charming, and truly cozy townhouse with 4 floors, spanning almost 200 m², and featuring a small, cozy, and peaceful backyard where you can enjoy the afternoon and evening sun. The house is ideal for both couples and small families. It is a unique and functional home with access to the entire house. A great location where most of Copenhagen can be easily reached by public transport or car. While there is no private parking, there is free parking near the house and in the surrounding area, plus only 300 meters to electric car charging stations. Our house in Valby is not just a place to stay, but also a homely base for exploring Copenhagen, surrounded by nature and with easy access to the city’s amenities. About the House: The ground floor includes an entrance with stairs leading to the first floor, a very large dining room and living room, as well as a well-equipped kitchen with direct access to our cozy backyard. On the first floor, there is a bedroom with a large double bed, a small room with a very large wardrobe where you can store your clothes, as well as a bathroom with a toilet and shower. On the second floor, there is the house's second bedroom with a double bed and a crib. From the skylight, you can enjoy the view over our garden and the surrounding neighborhood. In our basement, you have free access to a washing machine, dryer, and clothes drying rack. Valby and Surroundings: Valby offers a unique combination of local shops and cozy cafés. Within a short distance, you’ll find Tivoli, the Zoo, as well as Søndermarken, Frederiksberg Gardens, and Frederiksberg Palace and the Horticultural Society's garden. Practical Information about Shopping and Transport: 800 meters to Danshøj or Hvidovre S-train station with 12 minutes to Copenhagen Central Station, Tivoli, and the city center. 50 meters to the bus to Flintholm Metro. 300 meters to electric car charging stations. 900 meters to a shopping center with a pharmacy and grocery stores (open from 7 AM to 10 PM every day). 700 meters to Vigerslevparken with a playground and opportunities for walking, jogging, and cycling. 1000 meters to Damhussøen – where the running route around the lake is one of the most popular running paths in Copenhagen. 2000 meters to Valby center, a wonderfully cozy oasis with many cafés, specialty shops, and a shopping center/Spinderiet. Guest access There is access to the entire house The ground floor contains an entrance hall with stairs to the 1st floor, a very large dining room and sofa room as well as a well-equipped kitchen with direct access to our cozy backyard. On the first floor, there is a bedroom with a large double bed, a small room with a very large wardrobe where you can store your clothes, as well as a bathroom with a toilet and shower. On the 2nd floor is the house's second bedroom with a double bed and cot. From the roof window you can enjoy the view over our garden and neighboring area. In our basement, you have free access to the washing machine, tumble dryer and clothesline. Other things to note We have set up a key box near the front door, but we prefer to be present and personally welcome our guests. Towels and bed linen are provided for all guests.
