Set within a historic 200m² home overlooking the Nera River valley, this Montefranco accommodation offers a peaceful retreat. Guests enjoy private upper-floor sleeping quarters featuring either one or two separate bedrooms, each furnished with a single bed. A dedicated private bathroom is located downstairs, and guests are welcome to relax in the expansive shared living area. The space The property is located in Montefranco, a beautiful medieval town on the hill top with a view of the entire valley. A car is recommended to reach the town as the only public transport is the bus which connects you with Terni where you can take the train. We offer transportation to montefranco when possible and possibly with some notice at the cost of 20€ based on availability but we are not a taxi service so keep that in mind. You can find the bus timetable online or ask us :) The property can be wholly private if nobody has booked the mini apartment within the same property, otherwise you might have to share kitchen and some communal spaces. The bathroom is completely private. Welcome to a place that is deeply close to our hearts. This was my grandparents' home, and in preparing it to welcome you, I chose to preserve its original soul. You won't find cold or standardized spaces here; instead, you will experience the genuine warmth of a family home. The original furniture, books, and little details remain in their places—carefully tended to offer modern comfort without erasing their history. It is a welcoming retreat, perhaps imperfect like all authentic things, but full of a special charm that we hope will make your holiday unforgettable. Staying here means being welcomed into a space that is deeply lived in and loved, ready to make you feel instantly at home. The beauty of our B&B is the atmosphere created in the shared spaces, such as the kitchen and our terraces. To ensure a peaceful and relaxing stay for all guests, we kindly ask you to respect the house's quiet hours and to leave the common areas clean and tidy after each use, just as you would wish to find them. Guest access You have access to your room or rooms if you are in two and comfortable common areas with pellet stove, sofas, balconies and terraces. Downstairs kitchen and dining room can be shared if the other mini apartment is booked otherwise it’s all for you. Your bathroom is located downstairs and fully private. Perched on a hilltop just a few kilometers from Terni, a car is highly recommended for exploring the region, though a daily bus connects directly to the train station for those checking the local timetable in advance.
