A small cottage surrounded on all sides by nature yet with easy access to a host of different activities. The focus of Hill Top Cottage is peace, quiet and chickens! We have 13 penned-in pet chickens that live on the premises. They are young but already love to be feed fruits/veggies thru their fencing! We're 5 minutes away from the Conowingo Dam for eagle watching, and close to Fairhill Nature Ctr, Great Wolf Lodge/Casino and many State Parks, hiking trails and kayaking & fishing options. The space We have a master bedroom with a queen sized bed and a second bedroom with two twin beds. There is a single bathroom, a full kitchen, a washer and dryer and two outside places to sit and eat. There is also a fire pit ready and waiting for your enjoyment. Outside of the cottage: We're 5 minutes away from a famous eagle watching point at Conowingo Dam where people come from all over the country to watch these amazing birds. We're 15 minutes away from Great Wolf Lodge and Hollywood Casino. We're half an hour away from the Fair Hill Nature Center. We are also surrounded by many walking trails and lovely state parks. Finally, there are a number of adorable small towns to explore in every direction around us. Guest access The entire cottage and grounds will be yours. Other things to note Please note that due to the proximity to chickens and because our house is on a small hill, we request that all guests sign our waiver. It will be sent to you immediately after you book to stay with us and can be signed easily through the included DocuSign.
