Our Inn is structured similar to a traditional bed and breakfast with private rooms and baths, and shared spaces inside and out for your enjoyment. Bring food to grill in the backyard, build a campfire or enjoy a glass a wine on the front patio, enjoy a book in the hammock, or grab a board game to enjoy with your partner. We are also just a short walk to the park at the end of the street that is at the rim of the Niagara Gorge. It's a beautiful space to relax and enjoy the sunset. During your stay During the busy travel season, Lavinia and I spend the majority of our time in Buffalo so it is quite likely you will not see us during your stay. I do stop in regularly to check food supplies in the kitchen or for some cleaning and yard work, and on occasion we will stay the night. Lavinia and I are adventurers, so even if we do stay at the house we are up and out early, in search of the next adventure. We offer convenient self check in so you can come and go as you wish with a door access code and all the rooms have an individual code lock for additional privacy/security. I always have my phone and can assist at anytime if issues arise or if you need additional information or suggestions. We have tried to make the house as user friendly as possible and encourage you to make yourself at home. Other things to note I have a lot of local recommendations in "Michael's Guidebook" here on Airbnb. Check it out for places to eat and visit while you are here. A lot of folks ask about crossing the border. With the proper passport/visa documents crossing is very easy. Many guests walk across the Rainbow Bridge and take in a view from the Canadian side of the Falls. There are also a variety of other tourist destinations if you are so inclined to explore. If you're in the area for a few days you may want to consider a day trip Toronto. Check out the Distillery District or Kensington Market, grab a coffee, listen to music, Its a fabulous international city. Their are snacks and breakfast offerings in the kitchen. The refrigerator, cabinet to the right of the coffee station and open shelving is all available for guest use. Please make yourself at home and enjoy, but keep in mind the kitchen is shared with other guests so do your part to keep it tidy! Finally, all of the art in the house has been created by local artists and it is all for sale. Feel free to peruse other bedrooms if the door is open and they are unoccupied.
