Moombaki

Moombaki is a Noongar word for ‘where the river meets the sky’. It also can be a term for 'horizon'. Our unique accommodation is located in an extremely peaceful location on the second level with private access which overlooks magnificent, elevated vistas of the Tamar/kanamaluka River, mountain ranges and rural settings. Moombaki is a new, modern and stylish space which features a king-sized bed, private deck with bbq, ensuite with walk in shower, open plan lounge and fully-equipped kitchen. The space Moombaki is an architect-designed, contemporary, private apartment, completed in 2023. The space is on the second floor with its own entrance, and takes advantage of the beautiful views of the Tamar Valley with picture frame windows. It is double glazed with air conditioning to maintain an ambient temperature at all times of year. Moombaki is open-plan to maximise the space, with sliding doors separating the bedroom and main living area, giving privacy for sleeping. The bedroom has a comfortable, king size bed, artisan designed and made bedside tables with reading lamps and usb ports, ample wardrobe storage space and a large, luxurious ensuite with natural stone tiles, a walk-in shower with a shower rose and hand shower, countertop basin, high seat toilet and stylish gun metal grey fittings. The living/dining area has a comfortable, leather sofa and ottoman, artisan designed and made coffee table, dining table and dining chairs, and a smart t.v. The kitchen is modern, sleek and includes a new electric oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer. The kitchen is equipped with new, quality dining ware, cookware and glassware. Sliding glass doors open from the kitchen/dining area to an al fresco deck with a wicker outdoor setting and new bbq. The deck has views to the garden, rural area and the Tamar River. There is access to the downstairs laundry, which is also new as it was completed as part of the renovation. (Martin also uses this laundry). Guest access Guests can access the whole space and have a private entrance. Other things to note Please note that the apartment is accessible by stairs. Please note that there is a dog (friendly, golden retriever) who shares our home below. I will ensure that guests do not need to interact with her (unless they would like to). The laundry is downstairs and is shared with Martin. Please note the dryer is not available at this time. There is a car parking space.
