The space Located in the northern part of the Catskills, just 3 hours from NYC, you will experience a true cozy house built at the end of the 70's sitting proudly atop the mountain. The Cloud9 Lake house is a one-of-a-kind experience, offering breathtaking views of natural beauty and mountains from every window and the inviting porch. From within the cabin, you will experience of being in a peaceful and calm ambiance decorated with original paintings made by the host. We absolutely enjoy sharing meals in our cozy dining area with a view of the lake and distant mountains through the screened window. My absolute favorite thing is enjoying that first cup of morning coffee and, of course, watching the stunning sunrise from the porch. You will most likely not see another human being that is not one of your guests. You may however catch glimpses and sounds of the local wildlife—turkey families strolling by the yard, deer family under apple trees, and perhaps even a coyote. Remember, these creatures are harmless to guests; treat them with the same respect as we do! Kitchen: On the first floor you will enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, ready for your culinary adventures. It's stocked with all the modern appliances you need for your cooking delights. Plus, there's a cozy eating area with highchairs for your comfort. First room with King Bed and a second bedroom with two single beds complete with slides/drawers and enough space for your belongings. The first-floor bathroom has an electric sauna and all the shower essentials, linens, & towels for you to freshen up. Feel free to make yourself at home! Thanks to the roof windows in this space, you can enjoy the full moon and indulge in some stargazing. We designed this area to be a cozy yet vibrant corner of our cabin. And when it comes to parking, rest assured, there's ample space for up to 5 cars. Your comfort and convenience are our top priorities! During winter Jan - mid April we keep our private road plowed. However, if you book a stay within these months, it is best to travel in a capable vehicle with All-Wheel Drive (AWD) or 4-Wheel Drive (4WD) and exercise caution for safety. Nearby Attractions: 1. In the warmer months guests are welcome to bring a kayak or canoe to paddle around the lake or fishing poles to drop a line from the lake. Other things to note While you’re here, enjoy lightning-fast internet which can easily handle web streams and video conferencing.
