There's a free dock, and you'll see incredible sunsets. Simple cabin, very basic, clean, and cozy, with a private bathroom (no hot water, no kitchen), You'll hear the roaring of monkeys and the crowing of roosters. The dogs bark. If you're a nature and simplicity lover, you've made the right choice. The space Rustic, recycled wood room with a private bathroom with a simple shower, cold water only, small fans, one mosquito net, and a hammock. This simple room is a great place to immerse yourself in nature. Nothing fancy here. It's very simple but very comfortable and clean. If you want to do laundry, there's a hand-washing station (no washing machine), and two yoga mats. It doesn't include a kitchen or cooking area. You park outside the cabins. The stray dogs are always barking, but this is true throughout the village. Street dogs are a reality. The cabin includes: 2 towels, one set of sheets, two pillows, shampoo, hand soap, and toilet paper. Cleaning during your stay is not included. If you don't love forests and nature, simplicity and simplicity may not be your best option. In the jungle, it's normal to encounter spiders, ants, toads, caterpillars, frogs, and other insects. They're all part of the natural environment and ecosystem. We live in their home. We can't guarantee you won't see them in the garden or on your porch, because we live in the middle of the forest. If you have a strong phobia of certain insects, this may not be the most comfortable place for you. The neighbors can be a bit noisy when they're listening to music or communicating. Other things to note We are located 30 minutes from the airport and the bus terminal, 27 minutes from Tikal and 45 from Yaxha, we are close to restaurants, beaches, public or paid docks, mini-supermarkets and many shops. In one minute you can have the public or private transportation station to Tikal, very close to home. This village is ideal for hiking, water activities, cycling or just relaxing. It is a reality to have dogs in the street barking all the time, remember that howler monkeys live in the forest around the house, they howl loudly, a definitely wild experience. The village of El Remate is frequently visited by tourists and in high seasons it is noisier and busier, in low seasons it is very quiet although not silent. Dogs in the street are everywhere. Barking at night. The roar of howler monkeys, the crowing of roosters and hens. But the experience is magical and very wild, quite an adventure.
