The space INDOORS Spacious and sophisticated, the modern country interiors meticulously curated by the directors of Heatherly Design offer stunning furnishings and artwork, creating elegant and welcoming spaces. The large main living space is open-plan and includes a modern kitchen, formal dining for 10 people, wood burning fireplace, smart TV, BOSE sound system and deep cosy sofas and armchairs for reading from the library. A large billiard room at the opposite end of the lodge has floor to ceiling windows with garden views on three sides, an oversized sofa and second tv, and a fold down queen size bed discreetly stored behind a feature wall. Individually styled bedrooms feature bespoke upholstered bedheads and furniture, high quality linen and overhead fans. Comfortable and private, they have views of the gardens and surrounding countryside. The fold down queen bed in the billiard room includes a fully sprung queen mattress with quality linens. The bathrooms are large and modern, with a clawfoot bath included with views to the garden. OUTDOORS Dining under the pergola or sitting around the fire pit are just some of the many ways to enjoy the peace and beauty of this location, with multiple garden spaces to relax surrounded by mature specimen and fruit trees and lush green lawns. Guests have access to a maintained vegetable and herb garden whilst an historic barn houses Table Tennis. Take a walk through the wetlands in adjacent paddocks or meander to the Goulburn River and the iconic Breakaway Bridge which are all within walking distance. The tea plantation can be toured by appointment. Guest access Guests have sole use of home and gardens with short walk to the Goulburn River. Other things to note The property is not secured by dog proof fencing and is surrounded by working farmland with livestock, so your four legged friends must be kept close to you during your stay.
